I could speak on my topic for the Unit 2 Portfolio. The reason I could is because I am very interested in the topic i choose. Another reason is because i have a lot of background knowledge about my topic.

I don't think I could speak unrehearsed about my topic for many different reason. I would freeze up on stage they is no way I could do it. I would be scared because what if I mess up a word or say it incorrectly, say the wrong thing. I could only probably make a speech about my family unrehearsed, I mean it would be easy because I know them so well.

I do not think I could speak unrehearsed about my topic. I think I would forget my Pros and Cons and forget about the information I used to back me up. I could make a speech about my little sister or my older sister because I know them very well and I actually know them better than I know my parents because we hang out more. I think it takes lots of practice for a subject that is new to you like the pros and cons of video games, but with a subject like your siblings and family it would be very easy to say because you know them especially your siblings.

Sojourner Truth was able to talk in front of my people about a topic without preparation and use notes because it was a topic that affected her and she really cared about it. Just like I would be able to do the same about my family. She wanted to make things right and this topic really affected her directly so she wanted to make things equal by using her voice. I think if it was a topic she didn't really care about the topic she would have needed to prepare or use cards to speak in front of so many people about a topic she wasn't very familiar with.

Sojourner Truth was able to stand in front of a large crowd of white people because she was confident and wasn't afraid of the people she was talking to. Ms. Truth had plenty of confidence to fully say her speech. Although I didn't agree with everything, she said I understand where she is coming from.

Sojourner Truth was able to stand before a large crowd without any preparation or notes because she was a former enslaved black lady with no education, but she had a huge desire to fight for African American civil rights and the fight for women's rights. She opposed the idea that women were weak and told the audience that she had worked as hard as any man. She reminded the audience that Mary, or the mother of Jesus, was an important role in history, life, and religion. So, she could speak without having to prepare or use notes because she used her life experience, her faith, and her personal beliefs. And used the truth and her voice to convince others that women should be treated equally.

sojourner truth grew up in a time where reading and writing were not pushed on kids to learn so she didn't have notes she could just red off of, which is good because it made everything she said more meaningful, because you know it came from the heart. She felt that women should have the same rights as men and she felt that so strongly that when she did her speech you could feel every word she was saying and you knew she meant it.

Sojourner truth was able to stand Infront of a large group of people because she was confident in what she was saying and she "I can't read, but I can hear". Which she is trying to say is that she has heard enough to provide all the information that she needs to prove her point the men and women should have equal right, and white men should stop sexualizing women because of their sex and because of their color.
