Activation begins with the design of a curriculum that focuses on students' intelligences, prior knowledge, and experiences to demonstrate their understanding. Therefore, active learning is performative and needs to be intentional, well-designed and framed.

Planning facilitates the teaching, and the activities to be performed, in addition, it helps to implement the objectives of the class, through planning the teacher is able to select the appropriate methods, organize the content and understand what is taught in class.

Motivation is the main incentive to start learning a new foreign language, and this motivation should be applied at all levels of learners.

Evaluation: how students show their understanding. They serve to assess the effectiveness of curricula and programs and the performance of teachers.

Standards: allow to know the formal content and objectives of student skill development. 

Standardized Assessment: measures limited areas of competency and student performance.

Performance assessment: assesses students' ability to think critically and work cooperatively. 

Authentic assessment: minimizes the use of tests and encourages performance during student learning.

Portfolio assessment: Based on a collection of student work.

Reflective practice: Teachers need to constantly evaluate their accomplishments.

Connection: A teaching-learning process consists of the instruction that the teacher gives to the activity and resources. Activities according to Pedro D. Lafoucarde are situations that are selected for students to set objectives.  Ralph W, Tyler. the educator must keep in mind that the activities: 

- Activities offer the learner experiences by the objectives.

-Current activities according to the ability of the students.

- The interests of the learners can point to activities that will ensure the effective achievement of the objectives
