I just came home from an exhausting day. 
I felt tired and sad. My dog recently died and the pain is still deep.
I laid down on the couch and began to cry. There was nothing that could lift my mood.
Sadness was creeping up from toes to my heart. And I remember exactly how close I was to ending it here and now.
But than something changed. On Netflix a new movie popped up:
Sherlock Gnomes

My mood instantly shifted. I got excited. I remembered all the good times I had reading the Sherlock Holmes books and discuss them with my friends.

I used the voice-feature on my Alexa. With a scratchy voice I asked her to open the movie. I still was to weak to do it manually.

When the movie started everything changed.

Since this day Sherlock Holmes had a special place in my heart. A franchise saved my life.
This Padlet is in honour of Sherlock Holmes and of course his little brother Gnomes.
