Although I understand the reason behind the ban of after-school tuition in China, removing tuition might allow students to sometimes forget what they have learnt in school. Having tuition around will do students a favour by reinforcing their learning so during examinations, students would be able to apply the methods taught in school excellently. Since the PSLE is one of the major milestones in a student’s life, I do not think that it may be a good idea to completely ban tuition because tuition allows students to deeply understand the concepts and methods taught in school. And if we did not have tuition, students may be unable to ask anyone for help at home as their parents may be busy with work. Instead of banning tuition, I think that we should have a maximum limit to the number of tuition classes we attend.  For example, mathematics may not be your strongest subject so your parents send you for three tuition classes for mathematics on the same day! If one tuition class starts immediately after another tuition class, you would feel way too tired! With a limit to the number of tuition classes you attend each day, you would be able to gain sufficient rest and benefit with knowledge! Students in China may not have tuition and that decreases stress but when they do badly for their examinations, they will feel disappointed. In my opinion, it is better to have tuition classes , work hard and then, achieve success. Since Singapore has one of the highest-class education system, I strongly believe that tuition is necessary for most students to cope up with the syllabus. However, having tuition on top of school also teaches us how to manage our time , an important life skill. Personally, I have attended and do attend tuition classes and though it can be tiring on some days, it is really very beneficial. I personally don't take any tuitions. Most people may take tuitions as their parents are not free to teach them as they have no time or even they do not know something. My parents teach me when I am not in school as they are not that busy. When my parents and I don't know how to do something I always refer my problems with my teacher. Some people  feel that tuition is necessary. I don't feel so as tuition gives a student more pressure and as most tuition teachers give students more homework the students can't finish their homework and get really stressed as they have too much work to do.  I think Singapore should follow China's example as it will put less stress on students and we can enjoy our holidays.
