Some through drawings, music, or even sharing videos of themselves miraculously eating tide pods. How ever it’s expressed, creativity exerts people to look upon the complexities and limitations and express themselves in a way that is unique to them. I choose to express my creative side through my film. 

      Drawing inspiration from shows such as Saturday Night Live and other sketch comedy influencers on YouTube, filming short comedy sketches has been more than just a hobby for me. Using something as simple as my phone, my friends, and my neighborhood, I’ve filmed and even written a large number of sketches. Some that are good and others that are not; but either way, I’ve found something that I am passionate about and found a way to express it in a way that is unique to me.

One of my favorite moments when putting out these sketches is the general reaction from people. By making an audience laugh I feel connected and empowered to make others feel good and to spread positivity through my  films.  Seeing the overwhelming amount of views, likes, and comments on one of my videos, inspires me to make more content and pushes a feeling of content as I see the attraction my videos are getting.  When my one of my videos went viral reaching over One Hundred Thousand views , I was in disbelief. I couldn't believe that many people enjoyed something I had put out for fun and as a joke. Furthermore, from one viral video to the next I begun theory crafting, brain storming new ideas for possible videos. When I see a sketch that makes me laugh, it makes me more motivated to create content that will capture that same energy and feeling that sketch gave me.  What makes the sketches I make unique in the way I express my creativity. The skits and sketches I make, are in the comedic genre; which for me, helps defines who I am. I think I’ve made about three people laugh which I think is enough to qualify myself as a pretty funny person. Whether it’s dressing up in a ridiculous costume or making witty remarks during a sketch, the intent is for me to creatively find some way to make people laugh and my favorite way in doing so, is through film.

In one of my most viral videos I have put out,  the audience thought it would be funny to poke fun and tease my terrible handwriting in one of my videos. Over 300 comments were spread with humorous and witty remarks all bashing on my handwriting, and I was all for it. I enjoyed the comments so much that I jokingly made a video responding to the "negative" comments about my handwriting. What made this special was that I really felt connected to my audience and my terrible handwriting in a sense; is what brought these strangers together and allowed for them to engage more and more with my video.
