1. What is conduction? What is heat as defined in science?

Conduction is the process by which heat or electricity travels through creating a new substance. Heat in science is defined as the energy possessed by molecules because of their motion.

Conduction was used by having the heat travel through the wire and causing the ball of wax to fall in the process

The best wire to melt the ball of wax was the thickest wire

The biggest wire was the fastest to melt the wire because it had a bigger thing to travel through. Its thickness helped because it had more conduction.
