A free online calendar that can be used to not only keep track of your class schedule, but to also let parents and other teachers see what is going on in your classroom. My mom and I have this synced to our IPhones to help us keep track our schedules and my children's schedules. Whenever one of us updates the calendar it updates it on the other persons phone.

Prezi is like PowerPoint on steroids. It is a free online alternative to those don't have PowerPoint. Personally I think it is more user friendly then PowerPoint. One of the great things about Prezi is that because it is online it can be accessed by anyone, anywhere in the world. I like the idea students could do a group project and each person could upload their portion to Prezi from home. I also like that this work could easily be shared with their parents by a simple email invite. I used it today for the first time and found it to be really easy to use. Plus I think it makes for a very engaging presentation.
