america.

Mountain peeks were worshiped as gods.
Mountains dominated Inca Society.
There was a natural barrier between the coutal deserton one side and the jungle on the other.
Snow cap mountains were full of deep gorges.
The mountain gorges were natural barries.
They built bridges inbetween the gorges so they could reach any part of their empire quickly and easily.
If enemy aprouched they could simply burn the bridges.
