Invasion of Poland (Sept 1st,1939)

The Invasion of Poland happened on Sept 1st,1939. Both the soviet union and Germany have both invaded Poland. This is started when Hitler and the Soviet union made an agreement. the agreement which was the non-aggression pact. this agreement was that they wont attacked each other and they will secretly divide other countries between them. The result led to Britain and France declare war on Germany.

Neutrality acts (Aug 31st,1935)

The congress passed down the Neutrality acts. This act banned the exports (Arms,ammunition, and implements) of the war. This means that the U.S and foreign nations at war and requiring arms manufacturers in the U.S to apply an export license. The consequences was that the ban loans remained effected and American ships were barred from transporting goods to be belligerent.

Kristallnacht (Nov 9th, 1938)

At the beginning of Nov 9th, 1938, the SA (Secret police) which the Hitler youth use that secret police whose a Jewish to destroy 7,500 Jewish stores and businesses. The name Kristallnacht or Crystal night looted their goods. Since then, the Jewish homes were ransacked all throughout Germany.

Battle of Britain (July 10th, 1940)

The battle of Britain happen on July 10th, 1940. The Germany has bombed Britain by air. Britain´s air force deals significant to German air force but the bombs keep falling. There was 2,000 bombers a night for over a night for over 2 months. Germany blockades Britain by sea. Britain was desperate for American´s help.

Attack on Pearl Harbor (Dec 7th, 1941)

The attack on Pearl Harbor happened on Dec 7th,1941. What happen during the attack was that the Japanese planes attacked. 19 U.S ships were destroyed or sunk. They killed 2,348 Americans. American´s reaction was that they couldnt avoid an active fight. The next day the U.S declared war on Japan because this brings the U.S. into WWII.

Battle of Midway (June 4th,1942)

The battle of Midway happened on June 4th,1942. U.S and Japan were involved in the battle of Midway. The Battle of Midway was the turning point. Island hopping was too costly to take every island back. The U.S focuses on the most important island. They had Suicide planes (Kamikaze) and the Iwo Jima was the important base because it bomb Japan. Out of 20,000 Japanese troops, only 200 troops survive the bombing. However, most of the Japanese troops refuse to surrender.

Battle of the Bulge (Dec 16th, 1944)

The Battle of the bulge happened on Dec 16th,1944. This time, only U.S. and Germany was the only countries that was in the battle of the Bulge. When the U.S. declared war on Japan, Germany decided to help out and protect Japan. The U.S invades Germany and Germany is pushing back. This was Hitler last hope to change the war since the allies that are against Hitler were winning. The end result of the battle of the bulge was that a lot of the Germans surrendered in the battle.

Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb 19th, 1945)
