Plants use H2O, CO2, and Sunlight to make Sugar and Oxygen

6CO2 + 6H2O + Sunlight = C6H12O6 + 6O2

This process is called
photosynthesis and is the main reason that we are alive because when other animals eat the plants, they absorb the sugar and store it as fat. When we eat the animals or plants, we absorb the energy and use it to keep us alive. If plants weren't a thing, we wouldn't be alive.

In order for a plant to harness the energy it has produced, it uses cellular respiration to break down the sugar into CO2, H2O, and ATP.

C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6CO2 + 6H2O + 36-38 ATP

ATP, also known as Adinosine Triphosphate, is like a solid form of energy. The plant is turning the sun's energy into energy the plant can harness.
ATP is 1 moleucle of Adenine which is a building block of DNA and 3 phosphate groups (4 oxygen atoms and 1 phosphorous atom)

Plants need to do the act of photosynthesis in order to survive. They do photosynthesis when they have the following three materials: water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide. They get the water using their roots, the sunlight using their chloroplasts, and the Co2( carbon dioxide ) from the air. They then combine them to create photo synthesis. During it, they make oxygen for other plants.
