The "dark ages" for them is right now for us.
The government does not allow individuality, which means people cant increase their talent in particular fields.  This means people will be chosen randomly, which is unfair.

I thought it was interesting when someone mentioned that whether Harrison is regarded as a threat or not is ultimately a matter of perspective. The main takeaway from this conversation that I deeply agree with is how equality is unattainable.
 I enjoyed listening to this Socratic seminar because of how the conversation seemed to flow. However, in reality, it isn't because the people with more power, like the Handicap General, are not wearing any handicaps.
