This lesson is appropriate for grades 10-12 for either Health Science, Medical Terminology, or Anatomy & Physiology.

Review the objectives and begin lesson.
Once content has been introduced through lecture and/or discussion, allow students to review the attached videos.  This can be done as a class or independently.  I recommend allowing students to review videos on their own as this provides an opportunity for them to pause, rewind, and review content as needed.

Post Discussion Questions:
Post one or both review questions to your Learning Management System.  If implementing this lesson in one class period, I recommend posting both questions and allowing students to choose to answer one of the two questions.  If doing this lesson over two class periods, consider posting question #1 on day one to activate prior knowledge and/or assess how well they understood the content for the day.  Consider question #2 as an exit activity for day two. 

Anatomical Bitmoji:
Students will use Canva to create bitmojis of themselves and illustrate directional terms and planes.  This activity works well in the synchronous or asynchronous environment and will keep students engaged while reinforcing content.

Quizlet:
Students in the synchronous environment can do this via Quizlet Live.  Even though they're not in the physical classroom, they can still work as teams to answer questions. Assign or share the link to the Quizlet in your LMS for students in the asynchronous environment to do at will.

Padlet:
This application can be used as an interactive media element for asynchronous students.  Students will curate information including video, links, pictures, etc., to aide in their learning.  They will then share their "pad" with their classmates.  To further enhance their learning, students can make annotations on each other's pads or the instructor can share links, videos, text, or any other resources and require students to annotate.

Kahoot!
