Every year on Easter day, Bendigo has a Easter Parade. We have on route which is from the QEO or the Queen Elizabeth Oval all the way to Chapel street which is a long walking distance

The daylight parade

The daylight parade is different to the night time procession. Because instead of people walking around with candles and lanterns, people walk around with BIG parade floats, and hand out chocolate and lollies. And because it isn't night time.

The torchlight procession

The torchlight procession is like a parade at night time. Some children this year got to make some lanterns for the procession and had to walk in the street with their lanterns. This year they had real candles that are actually lit up for the night
