1. Deciding to apply to college: I wasn't sure I would succeed or even get it. It was a leap of faith I needed.
2. Going to Durham College: It was the most important decision I could have made in my life, and I needed to make sure I would have all the support I needed as I like Structure.
3. Working on ISL at Durham College: Working on ISL at Durham college has allowed me to develop my skills and self values. It has pushed me to come out of a comfort zone, and pursue things I enjoy.
4. Working with the Student Association: working with the new students association has been a different experience all together. I always thought that work should be meaning full and didnt involve the sense of fun. She demonstrates social Justice for Sam and his daughter, while empowering Sam for who he is, not what he is not. I also found that I have the same kind of empathy and respect for others as she does. In the movie she creates this bond with Sam to help understand him and support him with what he's going through.
