- Be consistent. But also flexible. If you are finding a rule isn't working change it. And explain to students why. Try to be as clear and transparent as possible.
-Set standards for your class early on.
- Demonstrate correct behavior and implement reward/point systems to encourage this. Be consistent here as well meaning students might feel punished or let down if good behavior goes unnoticed. This also aids in keeping a positive culture within the class.
- Openly address good behavior, and try and be 'low key' about a student's inappropriate behavior.
-Note your 'at risk' students. - try and give a loose assessment of what you think they might be asking for, when they 'act out'.
-Try and win trust, before discipline.
- If you are a reasonable person from the get go, it makes it easier to be reasonable about punishments. Explaining clearly what the class expectations are, and why the student's actions are now forcing a punishment scenario.
- Give warning, BUT follow through with consequences.

Good classroom discipline goes hand in hand with lessons that capture your pupil’s interests. Get to know your students and their interests so that you can tailor lessons to be as engaging as possible for them. Although it’s not always possible, planning engaging lessons that involve movement will reduce the likelihood of discipline issues, especially if your class can expend some energy at the same time!

- Be prepared for trouble. Plan ahead for situations when your students might have trouble behaving. Prepare them for upcoming activities and how you want them to behave.

- Shouting is not desired...

I prefer to be friendly, firm and have a reliable routine in place.

Disciplinary Techniques: (1-2-3)

-removing points from the reward system or of fun activities.
- Issuing additional tasks to students.
- Write lines in their "Sổ Thông Tin".
- Ask the homeroom teacher for aid, or suggestions.
- Talk to your line leader/ colleagues for suggestions of ways to bring awareness to a parent about problematic behavior.
- Student stands up in class for a period of time.
- Student is asked to trade seats. Or sit removed from other students.
-Problematic students can be told that if undesired behavior continues they will be issued a task/placement continually, until they demonstrate correct behavior.
