They broke up because of Will's depression, he doesn't like that the two are getting married, and throughs a tantrum. This was so unreasonable I think that Will over reacted, and it's been two years since they broke up. Louisa has to work every day at his house taking care of him, but he gives her attitude there for Louisa hates her job but has to stay for the money. Louisa helps or tries to help but anything that reminds Will of his past, or that is happy makes everything worse. Lou takes good care of him, and Will lets her do it. I think they are getting along better and they are trusting each other more. Also Lou has seen Will's scars and these keep coming up over and over again I feel like they might have to do with his accident. Yet there was an incident before Lou was the care taker, but Will nor his mother will tell her what happened. In the book Will talks about his ex-girlfriend "'do you miss her?'... 'I used to'" Will's ex (Alicia) is getting married and he was jealous. I don't really think he isn't still jealous, yet coping with the idea that she has moved on and so should he. He loved Alicia but after the accident he pushed her away, and maybe that's a reason he is always mad he regrets leaving her.

In the book his sister comes to town from austrailia to talk to her mother. This makes me wonder why come such a far why when you can just call? Or is this a bigger problem that involves her being there. "'Do you think for a moment that if I refuse, he wouldn't ask someone else?'" Mrs. Traynor says this this is important because Will wants his mom involved in killing himself but his sister wants him in a hospital. But what does he want his mom to help him with? who would he ask if she refused. When Lou went home Mrs. T went to her house and begged her to keep working, but she refused. Later that day she comes up with a trade if Mrs. T allows Lou to take Will to different places each day to change his mind about wanting to die she will stay. She agreed, and they wen to a horse riding one day then to a classical theater another. I wonder if by doing these things will help, because he seems to enjoy it. Because Will got her the best gift, striped pants from her childhood. later in the story it says "Will gave me another book of short stories, one that e had ordered from amazon and a copy of Red Queen" Will and Louissa are finding out that Lou likes to read, which she never knew before and now Will is helping her explore the world. And showing her things he liked to do. I think 
 that Will really likes Lou and really wants to help, but Lou doesn't know how to embrace the same. Lou wants to go to france with Will but he doesn't want to. Maybe they will go somewhere else, or maybe he won't get better.

But Lou gets him to go to the holidays with her, but hen Will gets sick and dies. All his money was left to Lou so now she can continue studying. This is so sad because they both loved eahother and did everything they could to be together, also this hurt Lou because even with all her effort she couldn't help him. Because he was destine to die. in the book it says “You only get one life. It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.” This book taught me to live boldly and even in the hard times try to find good.
