The histogram shows the frequency of the customer’s prices. The most frequent price was between $10.01 and $20.00 because the bar is the longest at this range. The mode is also represented between these two numbers. The data of the histogram is skewed to the right.This particular histogram would not be considered a bell-shaped graph due to the fact that there is no data for the price range of $70.01 and $80. Therefore, this histogram is not normally distributed. The histogram shows that the center/median is between $30.01 to $40. This graph is unimodal since there is only one peak. The spread is considered wide since the prices range from $2.32 to 135.54. Unlike the histogram, the box and whiskers plot displays the five number summary. The left whisker represents the minimum value (2.32). The farthest left line represents Q1 (17.15), the middle bar represents the median value (31.265), and the right bar represents Q3 (53.67). The dot on the right side of the screen represents the outlier, which is also the greatest value at 135.54.

The histogram displays the frequency of each price range. We can look at the histogram and see what price customers most often pay at the grocery store. The box and whiskers plot does not show us this information. Instead, the box and whiskers plot shows us what the lowest and highest prices were along with the median of the data. Each graph contains valuable information. It depends on what information you are seeking. If you want to know what the most frequent price was, you would want to look at the histogram. If you wanted to know the five number summary, you would want a box and whiskers plot.
