         <description><![CDATA[<p>Riley, Me, Keenan, Delaney, and Karlos</p><p><strong>By ensuring that the school has practices in place for welcoming newly arrived English language learners and their families, we can foster an inclusive environment for all students.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>If possible, the administration can hire interpreters that are familiar with the community's languages - in concert with a volunteer team (consisting of both educators and students) that recognize the diversity of the student body in school events and messaging.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>We can also encourage involvement of newcomer/immigrant parents in school events and the parent council by sharing newsletters in their language.</strong></p>]]></description>
