This article is about how a company can improve their ethics within their company. I find that this article is different from others I have read about who a company can improve their ethics at work. There is always a company out there that wants to improve the ethics for many reason, for example they may be out of date or the company needs to refresh the company about how ethics are important in the workplace. 

This article is one that I found interesting, for it goes into detail about the impacts that globalization has on the economic growth. This article shows the benefits and risks of globalization, for example, technological innovation as this increased competition from globalization helps stimulate new technology development. One of the risks of globalization is national sovereignty, the rise of nation-states, multinational or global firms, and other international organizations as a threat to sovereignty.

This video is important to the learning of globalization as it talks about the cost of globalization. This video shows that an iPhone parts are developed in different parts of the world, than they are put together in China. This is a great example of how a lot of companies work, as they are saving money during developing.   

This video goes through the do’s and don’ts of the group decision making process. I find this important for any company to watch to help with the differences that might happen when in a group decision setting. This can also be used for group project to help when in difference on opinions, this can be used as guide to the help with any problems that any group can encounter. 

This video is about the internal and external environment of an organization, this is important to our reading as it goes through the elements of internal and external environments. This also shows the differences of the elements of both environments, for internal is based on owners, employees, and culture. External has supplier, competitors, and customer this all has to do with outside of the company and is important to any company’s success.  

This article goes into detail about employee’s compensation like salary, wages, incentives, and commission.  This talks about the wages that employees are entitle to and how often they are to be payed, as well as the commission that are due to the employees. For example, a realtor gets a commission when they sell a house as well as a wage. This article is a great example of the importance of the external environment. 

This article shows the functions of a human resource manager and how they manage and train an employee. This goes through the typical steps that a human resource manager goes through when interviewing and hiring a new employee. This is important to know when talking about a human resource manager as they are the bones of any company as they hire the employees to help the company be successful. 

This article talks about effective and efficient communication in a business. In any business their needs to be a great line of communication and this article is important to the communication. The point of any communication is to communicate with different people within and outside the company to help push the product or service that you want too. For example, this article talks about active listening it says that employees and entrepreneurs should practice active listening as they interact with co-workers and customers. 

There are many differences between management and leadership and this article shows the differences between the two. This important to know the differences, for not a lot of people know how they are so different. Management is someone who tells people what to do and when to do, where as a leader will lead their employees to success. The best way to bring out the best in a company’s employees is to lead them instead of managing them. 

This article is about how a company can improve their quality control. I find this interesting for this module because quality control is important to any company for if a business has multiplied locations, they want to make sure that they all have the same quality for their customers. With this in mine it will help build the company into growing more and show to its customers that they have high standards. This article also helps with going into more detail about quality control and how it should be used and what a company should focus on for quality control.  

This video is about managing productivity and on how a company can manage your time better with the company. As head of any company they are to do a lot on a daily basis, but it’s not just the CEO, second-line and first-line managers have things that have to be done by the end of each day. I find that this video is important to the course as it is giving us an eye into what we can do when we enter the working world. There are is one thing in the is video that can help not only business people but also students as well with a do to list this is a way for anyone to look at what needs to be done for that day so nothing is forgotten.
