"If you were you, how would you be, and what would you do?"

Conceived by Group.BR, an immigrant woman-led company, the show integrates physical theatre, visual arts, film, music & performance art, which embodies the writer’s deepest feelings, serving as an entry point to Clarice's incredible work.

This immersion happens inside a real space of a house, through its rooms. Clarice´s work starts from daily situations, such as staring at an egg in the kitchen, to open existential and wide questions about the universe.

The audience can access 11 different journeys and choose whom to follow, where to go, and how much time to spend in each room. In doubt about what to do just ask "If you were you, how would you be and what would you do?".

The performers embody the writer's biggest themes such as identity, solitude, madness, faith, time, violence, maternity, childhood, and freedom accompanied by the awarded violinist Mario Forte. The show is performed both in English and Portuguese with English Subtitles. 

As well as the directors of the company, Clarice was also an immigrant. Born in Ukraine, she migrated to Brazil as a child and is the most famous Jewish writer after Franz Kafka. 

The show was presented in New York in 2016 and 2018. The show transported the audience directly inside Lispector’s heart creating an experience that encouraged them to engage with literature on a sensory level. Now the 2018’s film performance is available for viewers around the world through the gather.town platform, allowing the audience to navigate through the three virtual floors of Aich Studio, a preserved 19th-century space in the heart of Gramercy Park.

Again, still very coherent with the goals of MITSP, which always supports the promotion of Brazilian Culture abroad and exchange with other cultures and markets.

About the learnings: 
- Being objective;
- figuring out the core elements of your project;
- to connect with possible partners/buyers in a more eye-to-eye, equal to equal level;
- ways to approach those people in a non-invasive and assertive way;
- how to use our own network and the ones in the workshop to support each others' initiatives;
- lots of new relevant contacts in festivals to approach with our projects ;
