I may not have experienced all the excitement, but my aunts and uncles always tell us the craziest stories about their childhood. There was this one story that stays with me till this day and this is how it goes. My mom lived on a farm in Zacatecas; Mexico, her and her family had many animals. But my mom had a favorite animal, that animal was a little pony. One day she went out and decided to go see the pig instead of her favorite pony. When she entered the pig room, she couldn't find him, yet she felt something looking at her. So she turned and the pig started to charge at her. She screamed and ran out the room, then proceeded to tell her siblings what happened, and they all started laughing and calling her names. Just like that my mom got her nickname Chita.

They all started from scratch, by first getting their U.S citizenship, and at the time John F. Kennedy was the president so it was somewhat easier to gain citizenship.The family got older they started to get jobs and some went off to Norwalk, Hawaiian Gardens, Bellflower, Paramount, Los Alamitos. Others even went as far as Missouri, yet my mom still manages to keep in contact with them.
