I think that it is important to show my portfolio to my learners to act as a model for what their portfolio could be. My portfolio shows my goals and what I have done throughout the year to accomplish that goal. I think that choosing a goal each 9 weeks for students would help them to create a portfolio that they can reflect and look back on.

We only have one 9 weeks left however we have been documenting our growth all year through keynote reflection in Language Arts. I think I want to have them upload that presentation to bulb to show their growth. I would also like to help them create a resume.

I think using my showcase as a model will allow my learners to see that the portfolio is an ongoing process not a finish right now type of template. I feel that it is important for our learners to a have a place where they can show that they are more than just a test score. Their bulb highlights their journey throughout school and what they are proud of each year.
