• Wednesday: We learned to use the cameras and how to take a fine photo with the need to control the lighting in the photo and we also need to set the iso , shutter and the iris to the right setting for the photo to be good.

• Thursday: we had gone to the music master class opening and was tasked with taking the photo of the important guest that we had invited to our music master class, after we have finished taking the photo we needed we left and around 5:00, we had gone down stairs to interview our important guests that are eating some delicious snacks. We interviewed all five with mike interviewing the two person from Austria and one of the local musicians. Me and sky interviewed two of the local musicians.

• Friday: We then edited the videos and write reflection on the event that happened yesterday. everyone is working very hard on editing the videos especially sky who is editing the two local musicians and mike who is editing the one of the musician from Austria and one of the local musicians.

Last week,our school held the 4Ds Art Festival at Drama hall on Friday . The students from the music and performance departments performed wonderful programs, while the students from the media department played an important role in the later stage and overall planning, although they did not perform on stage. We each worked hard to complete our assigned tasks to ensure that the final performance presented a more perfect result.

About Tuesday, we discussed and confirmed the theme of the opening story of the program in the classroom, and came up with a method to connect several unrelated personal programs in a coherent manner. After everyone chooses the task they really want to do, we start taking action.

• I am responsible for searching for the poems that need to be played on the stage.

• Johnny and Peter designed promotional posters together and listed the program schedule. The color matching of the poster is very nice,and there are two versions of the program in Chinese and English.

• Mike made the opening video that needed to be played and selected suitable music for the video, the overall color tone and theme of the video are very compatible, and the music is very innovative.

• Sky made PPTs that each actor needs to show during their performance that absolutely making the visual effect of the stage look less monotonous,he also helped me record the poem.

• Henry patiently made some stage props that needed to be placed.

  
  

During the performance, I took photos in the audience and Mike recorded videos. Other classmates moved props behind the scenes.

Overall, although there were slight mistakes on stage, everyone has done a great job. We have learned the importance of teamwork spirit from it, and it is essential to communicate in a timely manner when completing tasks alone. I believe we can improve our shortcomings and do better in the next event!

4Ds 艺术节总结

On Tuesday, the first location was developing at the Mozart Hall where guests and HoDs offered presentations about their programs as part of the art education forum. Then the activity moved outdoors for a photo shooting in front of the ManJinHua Cultural and Art Square and Mall. Finally the event developed at the ManJinHua Theatre starting by an Awards Ceremony followed by a performance showcasing productions from various art schools of Shenzhen and from other education-related entities, parents and friends that visited our school from Hong-Kong for the occasion. The main camera then started recording the whole performances at the ManJinHua Theatre, including group dances, soloist vocals, chorus and recitations which were all meant to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Chinese's National Day.

On Wednesday, Media students produced and edited the 4th episode of our After The Storm News series to be published on the Media News Wordpress website soon!

On Thursday, Media students learned about the Element of Art VALUE, and later in the afternoon the application of this art concept in photography, in which sadly, not all Media students attended this practice in the black box. Nevertheless, a quieter learner space allowed for a more focused learning experience!

On Friday morning, the After The Storm News editing was done! In the afternoon we started editing the RAW videos of the Chinese National Day Production.

What an intense week we had!

On Tuesday, we had Performing Arts skills class, where we learned about how to present ourselves.

Today is the annual Teachers’ Day; all YIAA students were happy to celebrate this special day with teachers. The activity process is designed and discussed by the students. We went to a Western-Style restaurant for lunch. The food was really good although its mealtime is a little bit slow but it doesn't affect.

We had art class after we went back to school, where we worked on finishing the Mid-Autumn festival programme that we started last week. This drawing mainly focus on the representation of the moon. This project helped us to understand the Elements of Art lines, shapes, and colors. Some students used acrylic painting and to finalize this drawing and other used oils for the first time.

On Wednesday , we were assigned with different tasks for afternoon's weekly online news series hosting Henry Wong and Johnny Liu. At the afternoon, we went to the black box theater to record the weekly news series. We think is a great experience. The final video went well on account of no noise. At evening study, we learned some basic knowledge about the elements of art-shape. We draw sketches for the painting and it looks good.

On Thursday, we learned editing techniques about L-cuts and J-cuts. We expanded our knowledge for editing skills using Premiere-Prep software, this was new for us.

On Friday, we learned about web design and some examples, this was useful for working in the future.

In addition to working with Miro, we also continued our exploration of the elements of art, focusing on the concept of SPACE. This involved delving into how space is used in visual compositions, whether in terms of positive and negative space, depth, or perspective. The activity was highly insightful, allowing us to apply theoretical concepts to practical work. We experimented with different ways of incorporating space into designs, and the results were very satisfying, showcasing how effectively the element of space can influence the overall aesthetic and impact of a piece of artwork.

On Thursday, we took on a significant and exciting project involving portrait photography from a brief entitled BLOOM. We were tasked to conduct a photo shoot for students of the Music and Performing Arts departments. The session was an incredible learning experience as we captured a wide range of expressions and emotions, working with the unique energy and personality of each subject.

We were assigned to photograph in six different styles, each presenting its own set of creative challenges. These styles required us to experiment with lighting, angles, and compositions to achieve the desired aesthetic. Sky went to Stanley in Repulse Bay, Hong Kong, and ate some local delicacies in the vicinity.

Johnny went to Guizhou, but he basically stayed in a resort hotel, the Z. Ciff Hotel, which is located in the Fangmaixianlong National Outdoor Park, with a special layout. 国庆期间传媒系的同学们都度过了一个愉快的假期，一部分同学选择在家休息，也有的同学选择去外地旅游。Sky去了香港浅水湾的赤柱，在附近游玩并吃了一些当地的美食。Johnny去了贵州，但他基本一直待在度假酒店内，那家Z.Ciff Hotel,位于方麦斯 安龙国家户外公园内，悬浮于百米高空之上，布局比较特别。我和家人一起去了成都旅游，我们吃了各种各样的川菜，去一些景点打卡拍照并参观了世界园艺博览会。

In the evening, we had a Halloween party on campus. The party started with a Halloween thread art workshop in which we used threads to creative patterns such as bats and pumpkins on a wood canvas. Then, students participated in a pumpkin scavenger hunt in teams divided by departments. Every team needed to search around the building in limited time to find as many small pumpkins as possible for a 'secret prize'. Each team tried hard to win the game and the Performing Arts department became the winner with 4 more little pumpkins and disclose the 'secret prize', which was a 20-minutes extension on their digital device usage.

In conclusion, everyone had fun and enjoyed the Halloween party this week.

During club time on Wednesday, we had a Chinese New Year-themed craft activity including, writing Chinese New Year scrolls and wrapping dumplings. Paper cuttings are complex and usually feature animals, flowers, or Chinese characters, which are believed to bring good luck and happiness in the New Year. In addition, by practicing Chinese calligraphy, we create beautiful Spring Festival couplets with auspicious phrases and blessings. This activity emphasized the importance of appreciating traditional culture while fostering creativity. Finally, teachers and students made dumplings together in the school cafeteria amid conversation and laughter. The lively Chinese New Year activities wrapped up as the steaming dumplings came out of the stove.

On Wednesday in the afternoon we have gone outside to the street to take photos using shutter speed using the BULB feature as to practice shutter speed manipulation. For this, we mainly focused on little moving cars the children were driving at the mall, and the on the moving neon lights of amusement rides for children too.

On Friday, we watched an hour-long HBO tv series episode called Succession, where we had to analyze one scene in the film in 5 aspects, The aspect are the lights of int and ext, second is movement of the camera, third is the angle of the camera, forth is where we have to say what aspect of that scene is related to principle of design related and fifth is to say how all these aspect makes the character in that scene look special.

On Thursday, we conducted experiments with camera ISO settings, capturing images of people and objects at various ISO values and documenting each outcome. This exercise deepened our understanding of camera operations and the variations that occur at different settings.

To practice, we moved outdoors, where we had plenty of space to create our own abstract drip paintings. On Monday, we made a presentation of a2 and b2. Everyone showed their own projects very carefully and received objective feedback from others. After absorbing these valuable suggestions, everyone improved their respective PPT content and added richer image materials，chart data and more convincing explanations make the final work more complete and attractive.

On Tuesday, everyone finished the shooting of the object animation. We went to the art classroom to sort out the materials needed for the shooting, and selected one of our favorites as the background board from the colored paper and some laser paper. Then we went to the black box classroom to arrange the shooting site, adjust the lighting, install the tripod, and test the camera parameters to ensure that each frame is clear and stable. During the shooting process, our division of labor and cooperation not only allowed us to master the basic shooting skills of making object amnimation, but also made us realize the importance of group cooperation.

On Friday, we initially learned the concept and production process of infographic. In class, we first collected information around the theme of our own project, including images, keywords, data, etc., and then used canva to design our own infographics.

In general, this week's study not only improved our comprehensive ability in visual communication, animation production and demonstration expression, but also made us experience the challenges and sense of accomplishment in the creative process. On Tuesday, in art class, we explored creating mixed-media self-portraits using collage techniques. We drew inspiration from artists in MoMA’s collection, using this approach to express ourselves.We used scissors, glue, pencils, paper as our canvas, and repurposed materials for collage (such as old magazines, newspapers, fabric, patterned paper, etc.) to complete this artwork.

On Wednesday, we filmed our self-introduction videos outdoors at a flower shop, using the location as a backdrop and finding great visual material there.

On Tuesday, we have done narrative painting, we were first introduced to some historical paintings that we would have to write one verb, one noun and one adjective to describe the painting. we then randomly choose some to use as idea for the painting. we then created our narrative painting.

On Wednesday, we have watch some famous photographer's work where they use the style of NOIR to express their style of work. after that we watch the film NOIR to then answer the connection between the creator and how they use NOIR in their works.

On Thursday, we have gone out to take some photo that require us to change our shutter speed and iso to take dark photos and bright photos, the photo is inspired by Todd Dido's photo of building that is empty and feel very lonely. we are trying to copy his style by taking photos in a place that is empty. we have also done long exposure at night.

On Friday, we have done long exposure day, where we have the time it takes to take the photo is a bit longer than normal photos.

In parallel, we made significant progress on our animation project. We completed the storyboard, which serves as the visual blueprint for our animation. Since we are focusing on traditional animation, each frame had to be carefully sketched to ensure smooth transitions and emotional expression. This hands-on experience allowed us to understand the importance of planning in animation, especially when it comes to storytelling, character movement, and pacing.

One of the most exciting parts of the week was having a special guest speaker—a director from a popular cartoon channel. His visit was incredibly insightful. He spoke about his journey in the animation industry, the challenges he faced, and the creative processes behind producing engaging animated content. Most importantly, he gave us practical advice on how to generate original ideas. He emphasized the importance of observation, drawing inspiration from everyday life, and staying curious about the world around us. He also encouraged us to embrace our personal experiences and emotions as a source of creativity. His words left a strong impression on all of us.

On Wednesday afternoon evening, Shanghai Zhicun School and Dr. Su visited YIAA, and representatives from each department showcased their artistic talents in the Mozart Hall. The students from the media department talked about their trip to Austria through a conversation and played a promotion video about our speech. The students from the music department played various instruments, while the students from the performance department performed a monologue and a song. On Thursday's visual arts class, we collaborated to complete the filming of Cel animation, marking the end of this week's learning.

On Tuesday, we have our Visual Art class. we have done our Mood board, it helps us to have an idea of what type of drama we would want to film.

On Wednesday, we learn how to write stories and learn about lag line and log line. in the afternoon, we have watched some videos that informs us on some of the ways we could film our drama.

On Thursday, we have gone out for shooting of the short story that our teacher have made. its called Dreamers Dream, its where a delivery guy unexpectedly discover his fantastic interior self.

On Friday, we are going to learn and complete our story board. this way we could start filming next week.

Tuesday was dedicated to storyboarding. We translated our ideas into visuals, sketching out each shot and carefully planning the flow of the narrative. This process helped me visualize the structure and pacing of the film more clearly, and it gave us a concrete guide to follow during production.

On Wednesday, we did some shooting. We filmed some scenes outside, which gave us the chance to experiment with natural light and framing in an open space. Later that evening, we moved into the Black Box to shoot night scenes. The controlled lighting environment allowed us to play with shadows and mood, adding depth to the visual storytelling.

Thursday was all about testing the smoke machine. This was a fun and atmospheric addition, and we explored how the smoke could enhance the emotion and tension of our scenes. It also taught us how to work with environmental effects and how they interact with lighting and camera angles.

Overall, this week taught me the importance of pre-production planning and the value of trying different tools and techniques to elevate a scene. Each step brought us closer to realizing our vision, and I'm looking forward to continuing the creative process next week.

The core task on Tuesday is to produce a detailed Floor Map. The students devoted their energy to drawing an accurate floor map, clearly planning the key elements such as props, camera positions, and actor movements in the shooting scene. This picture is not only an intuitive tool for actors to quickly understand space and scheduling, but also a key guarantee to ensure that every minute of the shooting day can be precisely utilized and avoid the confusion of repeated on-site adjustments. It is crucial for improving the overall production efficiency and achieving the creative intention.

All the members concentrated on high-intensity shooting on Wednesday. Thanks to the thorough Floor Map planning the day before and the close collaboration and mutual assistance among the teams, the shooting progress on that day advanced very smoothly. All the students completed the set goals as planned and accumulated valuable materials.

On Thursday morning, the students presented and exchanged their phased achievements. Everyone shared the current progress of their respective projects and openly accepted constructive feedback from peers and mentors, aiming to draw on suggestions from all sides to further refine and improve the works. In the afternoon, the school held the last YIAA NIGHT event of this semester. Students from the Media Department were deeply involved and undertook multiple tasks at the event site, including on-site music control, lighting design, video recording, and photography. Before dinner, it happened that the traditional Chinese festival of the Dragon Boat Festival was approaching. Everyone also experienced the traditional custom of making zongzi together before dinner.

On Tuesday, we were all finishing up our shooting the scene that we need for our short drama film and are ready to put them together for editing.

On Wednesday, it was the day of the submission of our A3 and B4 project and some of the student have presented after dinner. we have also learned about the Italian Neo Realism, where we watched some examples. we have also watched a Japanese style of shooting that was interesting.

On Thursday, we were rushing on editing our short film the whole afternoon and after we worked hard on our editing, we were tasked to a whole list of thing for marketing and post-production.

On Friday, we are getting ready to submit the short drama film and is going to do some marketing in the afternoon.

Last week was an extremely stressful exam week, but we successfully completed the important tasks of the project. This included the completion of video editing, the optimization and adjustment of PPT content, and the collection and organization of shooting materials for the microfilm. Among them, video editing not only enhanced the overall rhythm and expression power, but also made the story clearer and more complete; the PPT was also effectively refined in terms of visual presentation and content logic, becoming more professional and persuasive.

Meanwhile, during the exam week, the classmates still managed to find time to complete the key shooting of the microfilm. These shots not only carried our creative ideas but also demonstrated the extremely high execution ability and coordination skills of the team members. Under the double pressure of tight time and heavy tasks, everyone still maintained a high level of enthusiasm and concentration, showing admirable sense of responsibility and collective cohesion.

Whether it is behind-the-scenes editing, data organization, on-site shooting, or manuscript writing, each task cannot be accomplished without the mutual support and collaborative efforts of the team. This week's work not only advanced the project's progress, but also deepened our understanding of the image creation process, and also enhanced our practical operation and problem-solving abilities.

I realized how much I love solving problems on set. Whether the lighting was off, something went wrong with the camera, or a scene needed a last-minute change, I actually enjoyed finding solutions. It made me feel alive. That kind of creative problem-solving is something I have come to truly enjoy. I also found great joy in the act of creating itself. When I am directing or shooting, it feels like I am building my own little world, a space where my imagination is free and everything starts to make sense. Finding inspiration, shaping emotion, and turning it into something visual is a feeling that is hard to describe, but it is something I deeply treasure.

This year also pushed me to grow in ways that had nothing to do with cameras or editing. As someone who naturally prefers working alone, learning to collaborate was not easy. But it turned out to be one of the most interesting and rewarding parts of my journey. Working with other students, actors, and crew members taught me how to react, how to listen, and how to build something together. I learned how important communication is, and how powerful teamwork can be. Every person I worked with brought something different to the table, and those collaborations made each project stronger and more meaningful.

Looking back now, I feel truly proud. This year was filled with golden moments, moments of success, like receiving university offers, and moments of personal achievement, like finishing projects I once thought were impossible. But even more importantly, it was filled with growth. I grew as a filmmaker, as a learner, and as a person. I discovered more about who I am and what I am capable of. I found courage I did not know I had, and I learned to believe in myself.

To everyone who supported me, challenged me, worked with me, or simply believed in me this year, thank you. This has been a beautiful chapter, and I will carry it with me as I move forward to whatever comes next. I am excited, hopeful, and ready to keep telling stories, solving problems, creating new worlds, and growing through every experience.

Throughout this year, I have not only accumulated valuable knowledge and practical experience but also completed several challenging projects. From classroom learning to extracurricular photography practice, from enhancing my individual skills to refining team collaboration, every step has been a testament to my hard work and growth.

Especially toward the end of the semester, despite the pressure of exams and overlapping projects, I maintained a high sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for learning, successfully completing tasks such as video editing, PowerPoint presentations, and filming footage for a short film. These achievements not only demonstrate my strong time management and execution skills but also prove that I can remain focused and persistent in the face of challenges.

In the new year, I will continue to embark on this journey with the same passion and dedication, ready to embrace new challenges and explore broader creative horizons. May every effort be rewarded, and may every perseverance find its echo.

I was really grateful that I have met some great friend like sky and mike who have helped my a lot in this year like in editing issue that I had and in photo taking skills, without them I couldn't have made it to the end of this year if it weren't for them helping me.

I systematically studied core theoretical knowledge such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition rules, and the application of light and shadow, filling the knowledge gap of taking photos based on intuition in the past and laying a solid foundation for practice. From clumsily operating a single-lens reflex camera and learning the characteristics of different lenses to initially mastering practical techniques such as studio lighting control and stable shooting with a tripod. Every practical class is a valuable hands-on opportunity. The platform of the Media Department has enabled me to understand more profoundly that photography is not merely about capturing moments; it is also a powerful visual communication language. Learning different categories such as news photography, documentary photography and conceptual photography has broadened my horizons and enabled me to start thinking about the social significance, narrative logic and emotional expression behind the images.

While reaping the changes, I am also clearly aware of my own shortcomings and the challenges I face. Especially in complex light processing, precise exposure control, post-processing techniques and other aspects, a lot of practice and in-depth learning are still needed.

But things began to change. Under the gentle guidance and heartfelt encouragement of our two teachers and teaching assistants, I started to uncover abilities I never thought I possessed. Our classroom became more than a place of instruction—it became a space of mutual support, where classmates freely exchanged ideas, lifted one another, and discovered the joy of creating together.

Gradually, I came to a realization: art is not solely born from technical mastery. Its true power lies in the emotion, intention, and honesty we invest in the act of creation. In expressing something genuine from within, even the simplest work can speak profoundly. It is not perfection that defines an artwork, but the spirit with which it is made.

Wednesday was Teachers' Day. To express their gratitude to their teachers, the students used the ECA time in the afternoon to make greeting cards by hand at the student center and wrote down sincere blessings to thank their teachers for their hard work and guidance all along.

In the class on Thursday, we learned to create text opening effects in Premiere Pro, which is a very practical video editing skill.

After the classes on Friday morning, the teacher led the students to have lunch outside the school and organized a Teachers' Day celebration, bringing a warm and pleasant ending to everyone's week.

• University Pathways: Students reviewed research methods and learn about tertiary sources of information. They researched about the best universities in the Hong-Kong area that offer programs in Media Communications, the minimum requirement scores for freshman entries for both IELTS and BTEC, and the window time for applications. The students completed this information in an Excel form. They further studied the coursework of some of the programs and started collecting information for specific portfolio submissions. They also drew a comparison table between BTEC, IB and A-Level programs to continue building on the Personal Progression Module.

• Web Design: Students advanced upgrading their both Gallery and Writing portfolios in Wordpress Welcome page, Contact Page, and About Page. They updated the categories list, navigation bar, footer, and they adjusted their self-intro videos for these sites.

• Factual Writing: Students learned how to compose long descriptions about themselves that include summary introduction, career goals, accomplishments, unique qualities and skills that align with the personality test assignment of the past week. They also learned proper image caption, by adding title, description, client, date and signature to better present works in their portfolios.

• Visual Arts: Students reviewed 'Elements of Art: Lines' page of their portfolios, adding research about historical and contemporary practitioners exploiting this element, they analyzed their own works done in traditional art and transferred this element in photography. The students started building on a long-term project design for a mural by learning about 'The Golden Ratio' and draw the spiral with the Fibonacci number sequence.

• Digital Photography: In this class, students reviewed basic photo composition, key/low lighting and lenses by offering both; formal/creative portraits session to two YIAA members in the blackbox. They also experimented on depth of field using f1.4, f1.5 and Macro lenses. They further reviewed the Photoshop toolbox and learned to use masking layers as 'Text Reveal' in post-production.

• Video Production: During this class, students learned how to add different techniques to add text to video footage, including masking technique in Premiere-Pro. They applied motion graphics techniques in the 'Envision' video production and in their own self-intro videos.

• Publishing/Branding: Students selected one of these photo session to create and design the YIAA Nights-september poster by using the collage/montage technique in Canvas for promotional purposes. They published their ongoing work in the respective sites Wordpress, LinkedIn, YouTube, Bilibili, Canvas, and Padlet.

• Media Club: Continued offering portfolios to YIAA entry-level students.

• 数码摄影：本节课通过为两位YIAA成员在黑匣子影棚拍摄正式/创意肖像，复习基础照片构图、高/低关键光及镜头知识。学生还使用f1.4、f1.5光圈镜头和微距镜头进行景深实验，进一步复习Photoshop工具箱并学习在后制中使用蒙版图层实现"文字显现"效果。

• 视频制作：学生学习在视频素材中添加文字的不同技巧，包括Premiere Pro中的蒙版技术。他们将动态图形技术应用于"Envision"视频项目及个人自我介绍视频中。

• Parent/teacher's Conference: on the last Friday of the month, the 26th YIAA will held the monthly meeting (PTC) for the parents have an in-person consultation with teachers and school staff. An opportunity for 2026 graduates planning best progression in education.

• 'The Moon and Me' the monthly 'The Nights at YIAA' performance held after the PTC at the drama hall for parents, visitors and staff see current student's development. This month the theme will celebrate the traditional harvest festival Mid-Autumn Festival or 'The Moon Festival'.

Tuesday, we started Moon and Me Performance in the afternoon at around 3:30 and ended at 4:45.

In the weekend, I gone to the open day for CityU and HKBU with my mother, most of the other student has also gone to HKBU. I saw some of the games, movie and works of the graduates at CityU. when I was at HKBU, I saw some of the movies/animation that the past graduate have done. I think its quite impressive that they were able to create something like that especially the animation but one of the film's animation I don't like.

Ron's holiday was quite versatile, he ate many local dishes in Taiwan and visited many ancient buildings, structure and famous poem persons house. He has also gone to many museums to see many historical items.

On Tuesday, I have started to do deeper research for the Element of Arts Forms and was searching for historical and contemporary artist such as Rembrandt, whose technique for lighting treatment we also practiced in photography lessons. Newer students started learning about Shapes artwork and Lines artwork.

On Wednesday, we are doing Chiaroscuro and Rembrandt

Lighting styled photos where the persons face has light that has a type of triangle, we had all school student to come for photo session in the black box. I was to only take the area of the head and shoulder (portrait) and the other two students were doing half body and full body. We have also taken photos of masks for a coming Halloween party invite design at night, thus practicing low key lighting.

On Thursday, we have continued to take photo of masks for the halloween YIAA night but we are taking them in the Mozart Hall and not the black box to practice high key lighting.

On Friday, we were going to design the poster for the halloween YIAA night.

On the Weekend, the school hosted the International Arts Education Summit receiving educators from Beijing, Singapore, and other regions for exchange on current programs.

On Tuesday, me and Johnny have completed the post for historical and contemporary research on works of perspective in wordpress and the lower level students have started their one-point perspective skills development drawing with pencils and watercolor during the Visual Arts class.

On Wednesday, we have gone out to take more perspective photographs for practice in different environments such as indoors/outdoors and during the night, I learned to create the glass effect in Premier-Pro software to add it into my intro/outro composite project for the ATS News series.

On Thursday, I applied the effects of the composite video project on Episode 3 of the After The Storm News and added more slides to my ppt.

On Friday, we are going to post our video of glass effect that we have used onto one of the episodes onto the Chinese TikTok for social media publishing and also create our signature in our personal email.

这周我至少通过 Film Freeway 向电影节提交了我的两部电影各 42 次，希望有机会获得奖项。这周合作影片《A Dreamers Dream》又获得了 Lift-off Filmmaker Session 第六季的一个奖项，并被选中在英国进行国际拍摄。这周也是其他毕业生离开学院前往各自的大学深造媒体、音乐或表演艺术的最后一周。这周，这套公寓收获了两个国际电影奖，其中一个是导演作品奖，另一个是合作作品奖。我们很高兴以公开放映这些作品来庆祝学年的成功结尾。

Likewise, a long-waited collaborative short fiction film produced in 2025 by CMAD 'A Dreamer's Dream' was submitted in its first-draft form and also was awarded a two-weeks screening from Pinewood Studios London, UK for the Volume 7. 'A Dreamer's Dream' film's cast and crew will further be archived in the IMDb Amazon platform.

Besides of the expected graduates obtaining the 2-years long BTEC International Extended Diploma in Creative Media Practice, the CMAD department is thrilled to end this academic year celebrating the closure with such a high award recognition from the international film community!

This year I came to Yinao Academy. I chose to follow the path of idol senior-level Wang Junkai's dream to become a star, which is quite extreme. I was attracted by a point about him performing his own songs, including his film and TV interviews and fan-made versions. The instrument he is best at is the guitar. The dancing videos I watched were also the same style as our family. From street performances to idol-level stardom in Chongqing. Actually, I suddenly thought that Wang Junkai is our idol, which attracted me. Also, singing + dancing + acting, I watched videos and tried to learn these. At that time, when I first talked to a more professional teacher, they asked me: Have you been to Wang Junkai's hometown Chongqing, to check out Wang Junkai's alma mater? I would like to dedicate a passage to you: Be yourself, don’t pursue the so-called perfect things that everyone talks about, be happy and joyful, and at the same time work hard for your own dreams and that will be enough.

In the process of learning to use all the new and fresh equipments, I realized that I have grown from someone who didn't knew anything to someone who is capable of operating different equipments, use different professional application and problem solve different problems that I would encounter everyday learning here. whether its doesn't know how to edit video to don't know how to use photoshop, all these skill I know how to use thanks to my previews classmates and my professor who have taught me all these skills from the ground up from scratch. I have also realized from the point where I started the second year that my confidence in presenting my ppt have increased and also some of my video that I would usually wouldn't want to show, I would then become less nervous in presenting them but I would still get nervous when presenting the films that I have produced.

At the end, its all thanks to my peers and teachers in helping me grow as a person and as a professional media artist.

在学会使用这些崭新设备的过程中，我意识到自己已经从什么都不会，成长为能够操作不同设备、使用不同专业应用程序，并解决每天学习中遇到的各种问题的人。无论是不会剪辑视频，还是不懂如何使用Photoshop，多亏了之前的同学和教授，他们从零开始教会了我这些技能。我也意识到，从进入第二年开始，我做PPT演示时的信心提升了，而且对于一些平时不太愿意展示的视频，在展示时也不再那么紧张了，不过展示自己制作的影片时，我仍然会感到紧张。

最后，这一切都要感谢我的同伴和老师们，是他们帮助我成长为一名更好的人和一名专业的媒体艺术家。
