         <description><![CDATA[<p>besides the Airbus 380, the Boeing 747 has also stopped production and the last one was built and sold to Atlas Air in 2021. most of the others are scrapped or in retirement. there are still 440 747s in operation by Lufthansa, a major 747-400 operator. Thanks Lufthansa :)</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the last ever MD-11 was on its last flight on April 1998, to me that's too early for end of production, but it is what it is. the MD-11 is a Tri-engine jet that was first built in 1990 and ended passenger sevice after in October 26, 2014 and is in retirement or scrapped. but the cargo variant is still in service and operated by UPS and Fedex (Federal Express)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On March 27, 1977, Two 747 Jetliners were heading for Las Palmas Tenerife, one a Pan American 747-100, the other a KLM 747-200.<br>but a bomb detonated at the airport, so they were redirected to Los Rodeos Airport, later named North Tenerife Airport, and on that same day, it was really foggy at that time, the Pan Am 747 had not cleared the runway, the KLM 747 was taking off, when they saw each other, it was too late... the KLM 747 lifted up resulting in a Tailstrike, The Pan Am 747 was strucked at the Hump to the Tail, only 61 people survived. the other 563 died...</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>October 31, 1979<br><br>Western Airlines flight 2605 was a scheduled flight from Los Angeles to Mexico City. there were two runways at the airport, Runway 23L and 23R, Runway 23R was closed for maintenance. the pilots didn't know that 23R was being worked on. they landed, 3.3 seconds after touchdown the right gear collided with a dump truck loaded with 10 Tons of earth, leading to the fateful crash<br><br>of the 89 people on the DC-10, only 72 people died on the plane, +1 for a maintenance worker on the ground</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>May 25, 1979<br><br>American Airlines flight 191 was a flight from O'hare International Airport to LA international Airport, shortly after take off, engine one (1) broke off from the wing, leading the plane to loose lift on the left wing. after that, the plane started to descend, then nose-diving, then killing all on impact.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>July 17, 1996</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>TWA Flight 800, Took off from JFK Airport at 20:31 EDT, the flight was going smoothly as it should. after about 17 or 18 minutes, the center wing fuel tank (CWT) ignited and bursted into flames, the nose fell off, the plane starts to rise into the air for a bit, then nose-diving.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>all 230 passengers died on impact.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Okay, so we know the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 and DC-10, but many people hate it for being a "Death Chamber (DC)" or "Machine of Death (MD)". the incidents of the MD-11 were caused by Pilot error or poor maintenance, even the MD-11 is safer than the Boeing 727, which keep in mind has 116 incidents. so please stop hating on it and move on.</p>]]></description>
