         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1</strong>. <strong>Sweeping</strong><br>     <em>Sweeping</em> the house on the first three days of Tet is sweeping away your good luck an fortune. Cleaning will be the same result. Be extra clean before Tet so that you are prepared and can clean after tet is over. Cleaning before Tet can also gets rid of demons, bad spirits, and bad fortune. <br><strong>2.</strong> <strong>Breaking</strong><br>     Be careful not to <em>break</em> anything during Tet. When you break something, that represents bad damage, loss, and misfortune. Keep stuff that can break easily out of kid´s reach and vision.<br><strong>3</strong>. <strong>Borrowing and Lending</strong><br>     <em>Borrowing</em> and <em>lending</em> money  during the first three days of Tet symbolizes you´ll be poor during the rest of the year while lending money represents you giving your luck and fortune away for the rest of the year.<br><strong>4. Some food should be avoided<br></strong>During Tet, eating certain food can bring bad luck to the new year. Examples of this is shrimp which swim backwards. Eating shrimp means your year and plans will most likely stall. Some other foods you shouldn't eat is duck and dog.<strong>5. Entering the house<br></strong>Your new year will either bring good luck or bad luck depending on whoever enters your house first.          <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Rooster</em> - The rooster is the tenth zodiac animal in the cycle of 12. It comes after the year of the monkey and before the year of the dog. During the years of the roosters, that tends to be the most bad luck for them. Some lucky things for the roosters are the numbers 5, 7, and 8, the colors gold, brown, and yellow. The best months for the roosters are 2nd, 5th and 11th month in the lunar calendar. Roosters are usually hardworking, resourceful, courageous, and talented. They are usually happiest when surrounded by others and always enjoy the spotlight<br><br><em>Pig&nbsp;</em>- The pig is the last (12th) zodiac animal in the whole cycle. the year of the dog comes before the pig while the rat always comes after. The personality of a pig is diligent, compassionate, and generous. Pigs are stubborn, once they have a goal in mind, they won't stop till they have achieved the goal. Even if pigs rarely seek help from others around them, they won't hesitate to help around them. Some lucky things for the pigs are numbers: 17th and 24th of every Chinese lunar month, colors: yellow, gray, brown, and gold. People who are born in the horse can be  animated, active and energetic. They always love to be in the crowd and they have a sense of humor! the horses loves to take the center of the stage and delight the audience anywhere, but horses can be cunning which is the reason why they have lack of confidences.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. Lì-xì/Chúc Tết/Chúc thọ<br></strong>The children and most adults would receive a red envelop called Lì-xì. Lì-xì is an envelop that have money inside and given for luck, but there are rumors that if you open the red envelop...you would be in very bad luck. the luck can grant health, growth, and good studies in the coming year.<br>  <br><strong>2. Tảo mộ/rước vong linh ông bà<br></strong>Before New Years, people clean up their lost and love ones tomb or grave and clear everything for the special day.  After that, they would give their grant and respects to their lost ones and worship for them.<br> </div><div> </div><div><strong><br>3.Tân niên<br></strong>Recent years, people have begun to go to mountain temples to wait for the first ringing of a bell which is an announcement of the New Year! On the day of the New Year, fireworks would be flying up through the sky and families would be watching and enjoying the bright and colorful fireworks and firecrackers would be set, making loud popping sounds. children and adults stay up late night til the firework die down.<strong><br></strong><strong><mark><br>4.Giao thừa/lễ Trừ Tịch<br></mark></strong><mark>During New Year Eve, Families would be around a temple or Shrine to worship their ancestors. The way they worship their ancestors is they would be kneeling and bowing in front of the wall-mounted shrine or grave, from the oldest to the youngest. Offerings food, drinks, joss sticks and joss paper are placed in front of the shrine/grave. During that day, All family would have a feast and they would have traditional dishes like dumplings or sticky rice cakes. While they are having dinner they would be watching watch the CCTV New Year Gala to see when the New Year arrives, featuring traditional, folk, and pop performances from China's best singers, dancers, and acrobats.<br>    <br></mark><strong><mark>5.Dựng cây nêu<br></mark></strong><mark>New Year trees are decorated trees similar to Christmas Tree that are displayed to specifically celebrate the New Year. Before the New Year, People would be buying the tree for a decorations for the house for Tet.          <title>Folktale Of The Watermelon </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A orphan boy would fish and hunt with adults only at the young age of 8. A king named Hùng who adopted the orphan boy.The orphan boy was renamed Mai An Tiêm. He grew up, got married. The couple were sent to the jungle by the king where he built a house and harvest rice. People grew to envy Mai An Tiêm. They fed lies to the king that Mai An Tiêm did not respect him. Also that all his fortune was only god's hard work. Mai An Tiêm and his whole family were sent to an isolated island with only dried fruit. They got fresh water. Along side some crabs/shellfish. A home was built with rocks and sticks. One day a bird dropped some black seeds. Mai An Tiêm immediately planted them when he saw them. Those seeds blossomed into watermelon. His family ate thus fruit while also casting them in the ocean with writing. They were found by trade-ships. The fruit was exchanged. The king heard of this news then he invited his son and family back.
