A poll was taken to show the effectiveness of technology on whether technology brings people together or tears people apart. "This practice extends to children, too. Forty-two percent of parents with children ages 7 to 17 call their sons and daughters once a day or more on a cell phone, 35 percent keep in touch on a landline and 7 percent communicate by text, according to the poll." This quote from "The Spokesman-Review" proves my point even further that families use it to communicate with family. For example; if a family member was in the military, one easy way to communicate is through technology. The heartwarming feeling of a response from the deployed family member is one of the main points of my claim.
