When we arrived, Monas was very crowded. We went to the museum and saw many interesting displays. After that, we went up to the top of Monas and looked at the city through binoculars. The view of Jakarta with its tall buildings was really beautiful.

When I arrived at Monas, I saw around and it was very crowded with people. Because we were curious about the museum, we hurried to go there. Inside the museum, I saw many stories and dioramas about the struggle of the Indonesian people fighting against colonialism. The National Monument, or Monas, began construction in 1961 under the order of President Soekarno and was completed in 1975. This 132-meter-tall monument stands proudly in Jakarta as a symbol of the Indonesian nation's struggle to gain independence. At its peak, there is a golden flame symbolizing the spirit of the Indonesian people that never goes out.

After being satisfied at the museum, we went to the top floor of Monas to see the view around it through binoculars. We saw a beautiful sight such as tall buildings in Jakarta. After enjoying the view around Jakarta from the top of Monas, we decided to go home because it was already late in the afternoon. We hurried to return home.
