The thing I find the most interesting is that Ishtar made Gilgamesh and his kingdom suffer consequences because he rejected her advances. I found this interesting because a lot of gods in different mythologies make humans suffer because they reject advances from gods who are romantically interested in them.

I think its weird that he's 2/3rds divine and one third human. Usually its half and half, but maybe this is more realistic since genes are not perfectly 50/50. Or Maybe he was created, not born.

What I find is the most interesting part of the story is Gilgamesh and his friend fight a giant and his friend dies. I find this the most interesting part of the story because I like fighting giants.

What i find interesting is his relation with his friend Enkidu. I find his relation with Enkidu a little interesting because in the story it states that he was made to chalenge Gilgamesh, but he said he was his friend and even chalenged a giant together.

Within the myths it talks about agriculture and how Enki blessed the rivers. They blamed the gods for the flooding, and that they were jealous of the Mesopotamians. They all wanted to be the number one civilization, so they created the myths so they could gain power over the land. These myths did not shape their culture, the culture shaped the myths. For millions of years mankind was all cavemen, and then there was change, they began to get smarter, and had new technology. This clashed with the culture that was formed for millions of years, so Gilgamesh showed how the clash of civilizations impacted them. With this change agriculture became important for the growth of the civilizations.

This image is showing farmers farming at the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in the background is Ur and a ziggurat .I chose these topics because agriculture, Ur, Ziggurats and Tigris and Euphrates were a big part of their civilization. They were also very important to their myths and religion The epic of Gilgamesh and Enki creation myth. They needed to have agriculture and a roof over their heads to survive so that's why I chose those two things in the prompt. Ziggurats are important because that's where they worship their gods.

The rivers are important because they flood enrich the soil and allows the Mesopotamian people to make mor crops.

Mesopotamia beliefs and agriculture was the main important part of the Mesopotamia people and empire. The people that live in Mesopotamia believe gods like Enki, gods who were the creators of the people and earth. The Mesopotamians believed and worshiped these gods and thought that they were higher than human royalty. I chose Enki looking over a Mesopotamian city because he symbolizes agriculture and how it caused the exponential growth of human civilization. Enki represents agriculture because he is the one who taught it to the Mesopotamian people in the creation myth. The city is a product of his (agriculture's) influence and illustrates how much it helped create the first human civilizations.

Some people got rich, some got more work, and people got more food.

more food mean more people that mean more ideas, more ideas mean more inventions, more invention mean life can be more easier. altogether agriculture was and still is good for civilization to this day

I chose to have a walled background to represent the xenophobic culture of Mesopotamia, as the land outside the city were wilds, thought to be protected by gods and evil creatures. The flood is representative of their perspective of their gods and of their own importance. the gods are cruel and send floods in resentment of their technology/knowledge. The farmland is pulled back to the walls for the fear the gods wrath and the creatures outside.
