It was the kind of question that you ask your friends on a lazy afternoon, sitting on a couch eating cheesy snacks. The kind of question you ask yourself in the shower. The kind of question your annoying little sister asks from the backseat on a road trip. The kind of question that seems painfully obvious yet isn't. I don't remember the exact moment my colleague asked it, but as soon as he did, it consumed us:

What is the most successful product in history?

Friends can stare deep into bags of Cheetos looking for the answer, the shower might gurgle something back eventually, and your dad might make something up to placate your sister, but the best place to ask this question is, of course, that beacon of insightful information and profound garbage: The Internet.

And that's where we went.
