Q: What are your views on religion? 

A: I am deeply religious, and it means a lot to me to be catholic. I am also incredibly involved in our church. 

Q: What role do you play at your church? 

A: I am the pope. 

Q: What is your relationship with your family? 

A: My family and I are a very well-knit group. I am very invested in the education of my two children. It is particularly important to me that they be first in their class.  

Q: What type of things do you do for your community around you?  

A: I donate to a lot of places like the children’s hospital, motherless babies' homes, and to disabled veterans from the civil war. 

Q: How wealthy would you describe your family as? 

A: I like to stay humble, but our family is rich. We live in a genuinely nice, large home. 

Q: How would you describe how others think of you? 

A: I would say I am a very intimidating person. 

Q: What would you say makes you so intimidating? 

A: I am an immensely powerful person, and I am profoundly serious about religious materials.  

Q: What kind of work do you do? 

A: I work as a publisher for newspapers at “The Standard”. 

Q: IS there any other way that you earn money? 

A: I also own a factory. 

Q: What do you do after church? 

A: I always drink my tea and read the newspaper after church. It is my routine. 

Q: What is your connection to Kambili? 

A: Kambili is my younger sister. 

Q: How would you say you feel towards your sister? 

A: I am very protective of her.

A: I go to St. Nicolas. 

Q: How would you say you do in school? 

A: I am always first in my class. 

Q: Why do you not like wafers? 

A: They make my breath smell bad. 

Q: Why was your father unhappy with you? 

A: I did not go to two communions in a row.

A: I am seventeen years old.

A: The pope is my father. 

Q: Why do you not like when the priest touches your mouth? 

A: It nauseates me.

A: I guess rebellious sums it up well.

A: I am his daughter.

A: I have one older brother. I am the youngest.

A: I like to look out my window. 

Q: Is there a specific thing you like to see out of your window? 

A: I enjoy looking at the purple hibiscuses, they remind me of a story.

A: I look very much like my father.

A: I go to school at the daughters of the Immaculate.

A: I am an excellent student in school.

A: I am noticeably quiet and shy, and I usually keep to myself.

A: I idolize my father, although he does scare me with his violent reactions and strong opinions. 

Q: Do you have any connection with your mother that is special? 

A: My mother always plaits my hair.

A: My husband is the priest of the church.

A: I have little ballet figurines that are incredibly special to me.

A: I have two children; a son and a daughter.

A: Yes, although I unfortunately have ended as miscarriages.

A: Yes, I recently told my daughter I was having another child, but lost it not long after. 
Q: Are you and your daughter close? 
A: Yes, I plait her hair often which I like to think of as a good bonding activity for us. 
Q: How is your relationship with you husband? 
A: My husband is very abusive towards me. 
Q: How do you respond to those situations? 
A: I do not speak up to him and his abusive behaviors.

A: I am very calm and quiet.

A: I take care of my children.
