         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Biological Populations- </strong>concerned with the growth &amp; regulation of population size, genetics,demography &amp; life history evolution &amp; interactions among species<br><strong>Ecological Niches</strong>- the role &amp; position a species has in its environment, how it meets its needs for food &amp; shelter, how it survives &amp; reproduces. It includes all of interactions with biotic/abiotic factors of environment <br><strong>Species Interactions- </strong>within ecological webs include 4 main types of 2 way interactions: mutaualism, commensalism, competition, predation<br><strong>Keystone Species-</strong> a species<strong> </strong>on which other species in an ecosystem largely depend on each other, so if one were to be removed the ecosystem would change drastically <br><strong>Species Diversity- us a </strong>number of different species that are represented in a given community<strong> </strong><br><strong>Major Terrestrial &amp; Aquatic Biomes- </strong>There are 8 major terrestrial biomes: tropical, rainforest, savannas, subtropical deserts, chaparral, temp grasslands, temp. forests, boreal forests, &amp; arctic tundra<br>There are many aquatic biomes ponds &amp; lakes, streams/rivers, wetlands, oceans, coal reef, estuaries<br><br></div>]]></description>

Evolution forces adaptations to change in environmental conditions in a population.
