Mathematicians from the "Kerala School" in Medieval India from the 14th century (around 1350s) developed the "infinite series", a basic foothold component of modern calculus. Notable thinkers that developed this concept, namely Madhava and Nilakantha, is not credited at all for their discovery - it is the imperialist attitudes that are to blame for the suppressing of the true discovery behind calculus.
