To begin, Darwin made a great discovery. He studied the evolution of genes. Although he made some great points there was still many ideas to discuss. Scientists found out that all animals developed from ancient fish. Darwin wrote his book about 150 years ago. Darwin found out that birds evolve and change to fit the environment. Many differences were pieces of DNA (switches). They though it was something in the DNA.

It is apparent that the ideas of this film include the celebration of Darwin's discoveries whilst simultaneously trying to show the things that he never did or could have known. The film tells the full story of Darwin, from childhood to fame, detailing what led him to make his groundbreaking discoveries regarding evolution. It then goes on to tell the stories of several modern scientists who were able to add to Darwin's theories of natural selection and evolution. Of the things Darwin never knew the primary focus of the film is how humans came to be. We learn about the discovery of the first animals that had legs along with a large gene mutation that allowed humans to have the intelligence they do. It details gene structure and the effect it can have on muscle growth. The film overall does a good job covering all the aspects of the development of evolution theory.

The main idea of this film was to explain Darwin's theory of evolution and how it has grown over the years. The movie explains how Darwin figured out about evolution through finches on the Galapagos islands. It then tells us about how Darwin did not know how evolution actually works. After this it then goes in to detail and explains things that Darwin never knew. This is important information and adds to Darwin's theory. Not only were finches/other animals very important in the theory of evolution but embryos were as well. different embryos in early stages of all different animals look very similar which helped us learn that we all have a common ancestor in which we evolved from. That is the main idea of this film.

When Darwin published the Origin of species, he created the basis of all evolutionary studies and research. Darwin started his discovery in the Galapagos islands where he collected a variation of finches. He later discovered that different birds species change depending on natural selection. Using his discovery of natural selection he created the idea of Tree of Life. 150 years later his theory of evolution is held in high acceptance today. Many scientists today have made many more discoveries based on Darwin's theory such as genes, the first animal to go on land and so on and so forth. So to sum it up, Darwin gave us the basis of evolution, and has helped us understand many different complex areas of study.

Charles Darwin had an idea that species adapt and change. Darwin originally went to school to be a doctor, but soon realized that he had a big idea that needed more research. After Darwin died, many people carried on his legacy and soon figured out that animals evolve from each other. At the time, Darwin believed that we share a common ancestor with orangutans. Many people thought he was crazy, but he was right all along. One question Darwin never could figure out was "How have some animals lost their legs" The basic answer to that is evolution. In conclusion, Darwin had a big idea about evolution, but he could never fully answer it. As the years go by more and more scientists have researched what he couldn't and we have figured out what evolution is.

Darwin did many thing for evolution science. He made a amazing theroty which changed the lives of many. But how did evolution come about? But first let's look in Charles past life, he was not good in school, but he dug fossils and got a mission, then observed embryos of these animals. He saw there was gills in a human embryo, so that means we evolved from fish. He also saw variation in bird's beaks, and it showed how they adjusted to the islands. But in modern day we can look into DNA, which is super useful. Mutations make those variations, which Darwin didn't know. We can change a organisms genes by injecting it, which was tested with flys. But they had the same genes, it's just a on and off gene that can set this on or off. But it's very different in timing. Then this fish's fossil was found, which had limbs like humans, and it was believed every legged organism evolved from this fish. Some animals are 99% identical to humans, which Darwin never knew. But how is our brains growing? Then we looked into Apes, they have much larger jaws, while humans have very small jaws compared to humans. But our jaws are useful because our brains could expand in our skull. Darwin's theory has changed many lives, and is continued today, we just added to it. But this will expand constantly, Darwin would be very proud.

Darwin was right about a lot of things, but he also didn't have the technology to learn about stuff like DNA. Charles Darwin never understood the physical forces that changed species appearance. When Darwin traveled to the Galapagos, he saw how the beaks of finches were different on each island. These beaks helped the finches survive in their environment. He created the theory of natural selection but didn't know how the complex processes worked. He knew variation must be the starting point for change in nature, but was unaware of how variation in organisms was caused. His idea of natural selection was spouted from the fact that organisms with preferable traits would evade predators. Without the access to looking at DNA, Darwin could not expand on his theories much at that time. If he could look at DNA he would have known that variation is the result of mutations in DNA. Genes decide the appearance and structure of organisms and this information would have been key to evaluating his theories if he could look at DNA. Switches in DNA turn on and off which plays a big role in deciding the features of an organism. In conclusion, Darwin came very close to understanding evolution but could not expand on vast ideas due to not being able to look at DNA.

When Darwin got to medical school he hated it but he still got educated. Darwin was later called out to go on an expedition out to south america and he fit the job perfectly. In south america they came across 13 islands. On those islands there were all different species of finch and they all were specifically modified to the things they eat. nowadays scientists found a fish that Darwin tried to find.

Charles Darwin had a crazy idea that all things share a common ancestor and come from the same organism. Darwin has loved animals since childhood and wanted to study and research them. He went and researched animals on the Galapagos islands and discovered that the same animals on different islands had all different species. For example the turtles had different shells depending on the island. Something Darwin didn't know was that the embrios of different animals were very similar but ended up being extremely different.Darwin also discovered the theory of natural selection and he published these ideas in 1859. Darwin also never knew how animals like snakes lost their hind legs. This was due to a mutation and they ended up not even needing them. But Charles Darwin's idea that all organisms share a common ancestor is not that crazy. Fish grew legs so that they could go on land and evolve into all different creatures. It was also though discovered that organisms could have the same genes and look completely different because of the switches that control those genes.

The video also explained what Darwin's theory was about. one of the discoveries Darwin made was about finches and how they adapted to whatever food source was most available. one of the things Darwin never knew about was DNA. if Darwin had known about DNA, his studies would have had much better results. If Darwin had known about DNA, he would have been able to prove his theory before he died. Because Darwin didn't know about DNA, he couldn't explain how evolution happened. There is something else Darwin never knew, this is DNA mutations and DNA switches, this is what could have proved his theory. there was a discovery about DNA that would have fascinated Darwin, DNA that existed thousands, even millions of years ago still exists in organisms today. there is yet another fascinating discovery that all four limbed animals evolved from one common ancestor.
