In class today we watched "How Wolves Change Rivers". After, we discussed the importance of producers, consumers and decomposers. In every ecosystem the balance is very important, any small change can have a large impact towards the health of each ecosystem.

On Monday we briefly touched on the ecosystems on our planet. As a reminder the ecosystems are as follows: Tropical Rainforest, Temperate Forest, Grassland, Desert, Tundra, River and Stream, Coral Reef, and lastly Mountain.

The task for this weeks discussion question is:
1. Pick an ecosystem from the above list (1mark)
2. Create a food chain with a producer, consumer and decomposer (3 marks)
3. Define the importance/role of a producer, consumer and decomposer (3 marks)

This weekly discussion question is due by Friday at 8:00 pm. After the deadline no marks can be collected. A total of 7 marks can be attained. The length of your response is not important, the accuracy is where you will get your marks. If anyone wants or needs to rewatch the video, I will attach the link.

Goodluck!!!
