Lamlahak, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, who are leading the way in climate-resilient agriculture. ๐ŸŒฑ Despite facing the challenges of climate change, CFEPA has shown incredible adaptability and dedication through the Department of Agricultureโ€™s Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (AMIA) program.


Through diversified farming techniques and a thriving corn enterprise, this village has become a model of climate resilience. The CFEPA members have received invaluable support from the AMIA and other Programs of Department of Agriculture, including:

- ๐ŸŒพ Capacity-building trainings to strengthen their climate resilient farming practices.

- ๐Ÿ“ก Climate information services and advisories to make informed decisions.

- ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘Livestock support and other agricultural services to diversify income and ensure food security.

- ๐Ÿ›ป Hauling truck from the Corn Program in support to their hauling and trucking corn enterprise.


Their unwavering commitment and advocacy to help and build one another paves the way for a brighter tomorrow for the village. On their own capacity together with the partnership of the Local Government Unit, they were able to purchase a parcel of land as well as build a humble office owned by the association.


Their journey is a powerful example of how traditional knowledge and modern support can create a sustainable and resilient farming future. ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ
