You will post your persuasive paragraph here. You will also link to the college's website. Your paragraph should be 4-10 sentences long, should contain NO spelling or grammar errors, and should persuade your peers to consider your college. Think about the ideal student for this University. Appeal to students that would get the most benefit from the school. For example:

University High School is the newest, and most beautiful, high school in Volusia County Florida. As a public high school, UHS is an affordable option for locals, but, unlike other high schools in Volusia, it is almost impossible to get a variance if you are not zoned to attend here. Advanced and honors students have excellent opportunities to pursue dual enrollment and Advanced Placement coursework at UHS, and students struggling to get by can take advantage of our after-school APEX lab to recover missing credits. UHS is also only 35 minutes from Disney World or Daytona Beach, making it a perfect midway point for the best of Florida tourism!

An environment where students feel compelled to experience and learn while being yourself is most likely ideal for most anyone, but there if you personally want to go to a moderately private and selective liberal arts school, Ohio Wesleyan University is a great option for you. Being a liberal arts school, Ohio Wesleyan has many majors and minors to pick from. The top five majors include, Biology, Business, Social Studies, Psychology, and Visual and performing arts. Tuition for any college can be quite expensive, but OWU has an insane amount of scholarships. You can get a scholarship for being vegetarian, Jewish, Italian, and many other things that are for academic, music, or sports. Not to mention, the tuition is the exact same priced for out of state students. Living in Florida with no extra charge seems like a fine idea to me! And if one of the biggest parts of leaving home is because of leaving your precious little animal, well lucky you because they accept pets with room and board! Not only can you take your furry friend with you, but as a freshman, you can have a car! Oh isn't it a blessing to have the option to drive when instead you'd have to walk in the average weather of 72 degrees. Ohio Wesleyan isn't a massive University either, in which if you're like me and gets overwhelmed and lost easily, then this wouldn't be as big of a problem. Not to mention, OWU is fairly smaller compared to other colleges. Going to a school that promotes diversity (Greek club and clubs of most popular religions are offered) and has a good, safe, suburban, environment is something that I would like to be a part of. Feel free to click the link if being a Bishop or member of Ohio Wesleyan University interests you as well!

Saint Mary’s College is a very well educated college where the most taken major is business. 95% percent of the faculty has a doctorate degree which would be a good thing because then you know you being taught by people who know what they are doing. That is not it though if you also want to play sports you can, and the teams are not just regular teams they are teams that have produced many stars including Matthew Delladova on the Cavaliers. This private, four-to-six year college offers courses involving liberal arts. Liberal arts studying is anything involving every subject, meaning you get a very broad education. Even though the college accepts a good amount of students, they still offer fairly rigorous courses. With the application due on January 15, applicants know fairly early if they've been accepted. If you get accepted, you will be offered many amazing opportunities. These include; many sports opportunities, choral programs, a fairly nice band, and a dazzling dance team! Many scholarships are available to assist in the surprisingly decent tuition cost of $44,958!! Knox College offers a presidential scholarship, as well as a Lincoln, Hermann Meudlerr, service/leadership, and writing/language arts scholarship! All of these are available to any students who fit the circumstances. I highly recommend Knox to anyone who is looking at colleges, because you can get an amazing education, and college experience, in a very cute and old-style college!!

Berea College is a great school to start your college career with. It is a good school for kids that are interested in getting degrees in performing arts and education. But it is mainly geared towards people that are in a financial situation, seeing as %100 of the people that go there need financial aid. The way the school handles this is they offer each student up to a $100,000 scholarship to pay for their college needs, with a goal of the student being $0 in debt at graduation. But they are a very selective school with only %33 of applicants being accepted.

My college is the Gettysburg College which is located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This is a moderately selective school which mostly accepts students who are academically smart and musically talented. The Average G.P.A acceptance is 3.77 or higher. The Out-of-state students overwhelms the amount of In-state students since most Students are actually out of the Country. The Gettysburg College is perfect for anyone who is looking for a career in Liberal Arts since the school is ranked #1 in the nation for having the best Liberal Arts school. But, some of the most popular graduating majors are Social Sciences, Biology, and Business/marketing. About 3,000 apply or the school each year, but only 42% of them are admitted. But, the school has a 9:1 student to teacher ratio, along with a 83% graduating rate each year. This school is very expensive to pay off without any sort of scholarship which is why they offer a merit Scholarship and grants each year of about 10,000 to 25,000 and annually give away about 50.1 million dollars in Scholarships. Something interesting about the college is that the incoming undergraduates have a day, kinda like the first day of high for just freshman, for the students attending get to see where they have to go before the other people come the next day. This college may not be preferable to me, but for any students seeking anything in Liberal Arts, this is the college for you.

Yale University is a blooming college in the middle of New Haven, Connecticut. Yale is actually the number one ranked Ivy League school based on the overall happiness and diversity of the student body. Many famous actors and actresses attended and ended up graduating from the prstegious university. Some of these people include but are not limited to: Meryl Streep, Paul Newman, and Angela Bassett! Yale was a school built for the sole purpose of providing a more rigorous education than the common college for the academically advanced and gifted. You should feel honored to attend this university. As a matter of fact you should pat yourself on the back because the acceptance rate of Yale University is only six percent as this school is very selective! Did I mention that the school doesn’t even allow academic scholarships because it’s a guaranteed fact that “ every student would receive one”? So props to you if you get accepted because about 94 percent of the people that apply can’t even get in! Yale is about an hour from the mystic aquarium, ( one of the state’s most popular attractions) and about the same amount of time to get to Hartford- the capital of Connecticut. You should never have to worry about being bored as Connecticut is one of the nation’s most historical sites; hence the nickname “The Constitution State.” So come on down to Yale where you’ll find the perfect balance between education and entertainment! Go bulldogs!!
