He does so by detailing things such as the direction of the military's advancement, the accumulation of knowledge, and the arrangement of bowmen.
-Ch'i and Sun-Tzu's Taoist beliefs: He believed strongly in Ch'i, a Taoist belief and applied it to his setting by not wasting time on useless tasks and using that time wisely so everything can be completed in a smooth fashion.

For someone who had won so many battles and spent his life fighting wars, his work shows that the best way to achieve peace is through a swift victory, or better than that would be to defeat your enemy before war has even started. His military strategies have been used ever since he composed his work and have helped military leaders win countless battles throughout the years.
