We use social media to spread fake news because majority of the people chat in social media so then tons and tons of people will see the fake news and then spread it even more! Even also to scare a lot of people!!

You can differentiate between fake and real news by : looking at the source or where it came from, seeing who published that news
, Make sure to check when the news was published, also, of course there has to be some logic behind the news!
