In the clip, poppy says she know the world is not all happy, but she says she would rather imagine it is than imagine that the world is all bad. This shows she would rather see the good in things than the bad, and always look on the bright side. She also is very confident her friends are alive and does not want to think of what happens if they are not. Poppy likes to think only happy and positive thoughts. I believe this because in the clip he didn’t want to interact with anybody at all and he just wanted to stay in his bunker by himself. He also hated everything and didn't and didn't look in the bright side in any situation given to him, unlike Poppy. For example, when Poppy and Branch were about to sleep he didn't want to hear the songs that Poppy was playing and when Poppy did play the song Branch broke her guitar. This is the best trait to describe her because in the clip, all her friends were taken away, but she made the best of the situation. Poppy tried staying positive, saying that her friends were alive and that she will free them in no time. In hard scenarios like that, it is hard to imagine someone staying calm with a positive perspective, but Poppy seemed to do this throughout the clip. And even though her friend, Branch, said cruel things about her singing and just being negative overall, she didn’t let him get to her and she just kept trying to make him happy. In the bonfire scene, she started singing and Branch basically told her to shut up, but she didn’t. She actually got out a ukulele and kept singing. I know this because he was frowning and whenever Poppy tried to sing him a song, he looked annoyed. One time, he even threw her guitar in the fire! He also made it very clear that he didn’t want to go rescue Poppy’s friends and that he thought they wouldn’t be able to. Poppy kept trying to cheer him up, but he obviously didn’t want that. He reminded Poppy that everything isn’t always good and that there are bad things in the world. And when Poppy was talking to Branch and said that they were friends of both her and Branch, he said that they aren’t his friends. He said that even Poppy wasn’t really his friend and that’s the way he likes it. When they entered the kid’s touching center Hank wanted to camouflage himself and stay hidden. Even after Dory finds him, he wants to stay under a rock and wait. He was avoiding the problem of escaping the pool like a coward. Eventually, Dory leads him out from under the rock, into Poker’s Cove. I said Maui was self-centered because he said he wouldn’t save the world if he had to die. That shows that Maui is self-centered because he wouldn’t risk his life to save the world he wouldn’t care if the world died before him. Another reason why Maui is self centered is because all because his hook was broken he didn’t care if moana died or if the world died. A reason why Moana is persuasive is because in the first clip, she tried to convince Maui into retrying and coming onto the adventure with her. Even though Maui becomes argumentative and cautious, Moana still tries to convince him no matter what. How she does this is she mentions reasons of what they could do to solve the problem. However after Maui disagrees for the last time, and they start to yell, the next character trait comes in, where Moana becomes fierce/aggressive. She yells at Maui with a loud and forceful voice that she is Moana of the island, and he WILL help her get to the island and restore the heart of tafiti/gem. After Maui decides to leave, this later on makes Moana discouraged with herself and leaving herself to say that she is not the chosen one, and that the gem has to be given to someone else. Dory from the clip was confident. She was confident because she wanted to find her parents and get to her home. Dory also was confident enough to keep swimming while she had the risk of getting poked by the children and to get hank to follow her.

He refuses to help anybody and lives in solitary confinement. He also doesn’t trust anybody even his best friend. He is somewhat selfish because he doesn’t care for helping anyone but his best friend Poppy. On the other hand he is caring because he does make sure his friends are safe and cares for them enough to get them out of trouble. In the scene where he and Poppy are camping she starts singing and this annoys Branch so he burns it and goes to sleep, so you assume he’s an impatient person.

Branch wants to play safe and not be eaten for happiness. As opposed to Poppy’s personality where she wants to defeat them and never be bothered by them again. She is an enthusiastic, confident and determined. She never plays safe. Her motto is go big or go home.
