         <description><![CDATA[<div>Big Bend national park is mainly in the Chihuahuan desert that is protected by the United States and its mostly dry. Also that the Rio Grande is the main water source that goes through Big Bend. Humans negatively impacting the ecosystem because of the number of industrial plants they built near Big Bend. Also on the Mexico side the air and water quality are a lot poorer. Also people are contributing to the pollution problems by dumping their trash or human waste on the land and in creeks or rivers. Also fires they are created by humans that destroying thousands of acres. Then hunters/ poachers are killing and/or trapping exotic animals <a href="https://studymoose.com/the-ecosystem-of-big-bend-national-park-essay">(2017,para 5</a>). &nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Animals that live in Big Bend are javelinas, black bear, mountain lion, coyote, road runners, jack rabbits, millipedes, mule deer/ white tail deer, and bats they make up the largest portion of the mammals in the park <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bibe/learn/nature/animals.htm">(Fox, 2017, para 1)</a>.&nbsp; Some of the reptiles that live there is the diamondback rattlesnake, and southern prairie lizard.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The weather in the Big Bend National Park is very nice in the fall and spring are warm and pleasant. Summer is extremely hot. Although the temperature vary greatly between the desert floor and the Chisos   mountain. May and June are the hottest months. Afternoon evening rains often cool down the desert from July to October .<br><br>CLIMATE ll<br><br>Winter are generally mild, although periods of cold weather (including very light snowfall) are possible. Winter visitors must prepare for a variety of conditions.<br><br>CLIMATE lll<br><br>Many plants and animals will be affected by future climate but some have already impacted by the future climate. It is a bird called the  Colima Warbler and the only time you can see this bird in spring months. This bird is rare in the US. This bird is a danger specs since this bird is very sensitive to changes in ecology and there are only fewer then 200 of them left in the US.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the 16th and 17th centuries the Spanish traveled the land in search of gold and silver <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bibe/learn/historyculture/index.htm">(2017, para. 2)</a>.&nbsp; During the 19th century the Comanche Native Americans created the Comanche trail. This trail was used traveling back and forth between America and Mexico on raids <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bibe/learn/historyculture/index.htm">(2017, para. 2). </a>Today you can drive along parts of the Comanche trail <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bibe/learn/historyculture/index.htm">(2017, para. 3)</a>. Anglo-Americans settled in the area and were growing cotton and food crops by the year 1920 <a href="https://www.nps.gov/bibe/learn/historyculture/index.htm">(2017, para. 2).</a> Ruins of these peoples houses still are visible in the park today. This park was created&nbsp; in 1944 because of the rich history of the land<a href="https://www.nps.gov/bibe/learn/historyculture/tgttn.htm">(2017, para. 2). </a>Many different people and cultures have settled or traveled across this land dating back several hundred years.</div>]]></description>
