Plan International:
Plan International is a global organization active in over 75 countries across the world. They work with children and young women to help provide support and recourses to help reach them be happy, healthy, and reach their full potential. This connects to our issue of poverty because lots of problems that arise with children living in poverty and the schools is that those children lack the important things they need to function properly and do well in school. Things like adequate heath care, and proper nutrition can be huge barriers for a child's ability to learn and focus. There are many ways to help through this organization. The best way being to sponsor a child to help give them the recourses they need. Other ways include writing letters to request donations, volunteering to work with people in need, and donating resources directly.

Save the Children:
Save the Children was founded in 1932 and focuses on providing life changing resources for the most isolated and underserved children and families in the US. This relates to our topic because education is the ladder out of poverty. That is why proving the necessary rescues for children to learn is so important to solving this issue. Some ways to help through this organization are fundraising, participating in events, advocating for these children and their families, and volunteering. This organization partners directly with it's sponsors and donors. Anyone and everyone can help!
