Share a resource that you find particularly interesting, relevant, or useful related to successful dating, so collectively we can create a handbook that the entire class can use to date more confidently. This is your chance to be the dating expert, find something tool or resource that you want to share with the class about dating- it could be a book, article, website, PDF file, video, or just your own tips or recommendations to share. Include a BRIEF comment about why you think it's a good resource for others. At the end, please include "Contributed by: Your Name". Feel free to add comments to other's posts too (but keep it as brief as possible). Enjoy!

When I share this research data with many of my gay male clients, they often feel shocked that the number is not higher. They often feel like they are the only gay guy who seems to want monogamy and feeling pressures from many directions to be non-monogamous, even if they don’t want to be. My goal in writing this blog is to share a short snippet about various relationship styles to help gay men feel the freedom and confidence to explore whatever relationship structures and styles authentically fit them. I am not here to advocate for any specific relationship style as what is best for you, for me, for John Doe and Sally Sue are all going to be different—one size does NOT fit all.

"I'm in Seattle, Where are you?" by Iraq's Mortada Gzar transports readers to life as a Gay male in 90s and 2000s Iraq. For those of us who grow up in "Western" countries, it can be difficult to fully grasp the realities of other Gay boys and men living in other countries with very intense reactions to Gay interactions on any level. This memoir indeeds follow a Gay Iraqi man and experiences with an American soldier. The book can be quite heavy, yet, wildly fascinating in its ability to portray a country with which the U.S had conflict and the day-by-day coming of age story of an Iraqi citizen. - Nhe'ghasi Ajani

It makes clear how structural issues can impact relationships in very real ways.

Contributed by: Jerry Benzl
