              Stanford University was founded in 1885 by Leland and Jane Stanford, dedicated to Leland Stanford Jr, their only child. The institution opened in 1891 on Stanford's previous Palo Alto farm. 
            There are some traditions and events that college students do during their 4 years in college. Some events are Full Moon on the Quad, Fountain Hopping, Exotic Erotic, Band Run, Hiking the Dish, and Back to School. They're their own wild events but they're all for a reason like starting as a freshman in college, having to dive into the schools fountain in order to get your diploma (not true) and parties with lots of drinking.

Everything they require is very reasonable and i'll also have a good chance of getting in but i know i'll have to pay attention to my SAT score because they expect a very high score.
