My name is Mónica Gomes! Portuguese, born in Germany, mother of two and in love with teaching for 23 years.

I have a Postgraduate in English Studies and a Master's degree in Special Needs Education. This year I am teaching English to the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grades, at Viriato Secondary School, the same school where, a long time ago, I was a happy student! My name is Simão Costa, I´m 16 years old and I live in a beautiful city in Portugal called Viseu. I currently live with my parents, who are teachers, and my little sister, Ana. We live in a very calm street, so my sister and I can play outside a lot.

I´m a sports fan, I really like cycling and practise it a lot, but I also like other sports such as basketball, volleyball, swimming and many others. In school I am a good student, I’m interested, studious and a nice person overall.

I'm Rafaela Barbosa, from the serene city of Viseu. At 18, I'm thrilled to share a glimpse of myself.

In my free time, you'll often find me lost in a good book, grooving to my favorite tunes, or out on the field playing sports. These activities are my sanctuary and my playground for growth. I often seek my time alone for some peace of mind.

I'm a firm believer in the power of music and art to stir the soul and shape society. They are the heartbeat of humanity, without which life would lack its essence.

My older brother is my everyday inspiration. Despite our age gap, his influence on me is powerfull. I'm driven by ambition and fueled by creativity, always seeking new horizons to explore.

My heart is tender for the innocence of children, the companionship of animals, and the beauty of flowers. They remind me of life's simple joys and its inherent beauty.

Hello, my name is Rita, I'm 16 years old, I live in Viseu, Portugal and I study at Viriato secondary school. In my freetimes I like to draw, listen to music, read sometimes and watch series, especially the turkish ones (maybe that's why I was interested in joining this project). My mother tongue is portuguese but I can also speak english and turkish (not perfectly of course), my biggest problem with learning 2 languages at the same time is that often when I want to speak in one language, words from the other come to my mind and I mix them up, but I try to do my best. In conclusion, I am very happy to be able to participate in this project and I hope to do my best in whatever I can do.

Hello everyone, my name is Yusuf. I was born in Diyarbakır and I live in Diyarbakır, Turkey. I am 16 years old. I like school and lessons very much (I especially love chemistry class). I have many hobbies, among them I like listening to music and walking the most. My mother tongue language is Turkish, but I know how to speak English and German (although not at a very good level). I like learning foreign languages. We have been taking English lessons since primary school and we have been taking German lessons since high school. Hi, my name is Duarte, I’m a 16 years old and I live in the city of Viseu, Portugal. I am tall (6ft2), I have dark brown hair, brown eyes, and I wear glasses. Well, about my hobbies, I like to read, sleep, watch films and series, play games, and that’ s about it. Now, you may be asking, what does this wonderful being dislike? There is a simple answer to that question: firstly, I hate with every single cell of my body drawing or anything else related to arts and crafts; secondly, I truly dislike “pick me” and “woke” people, they just get on my nerves with their actions. Some added and totally unasked information about me: I almost always grumpy if I am tired, and I have three mottos: “The only thing that works in this world is to treat others as they treat you”, “Vini, Vidi, Vici” and “A smile is a valuable tool, it inspires your friends, keeps your enemies guessing, and ensures that no matter what comes your way, you’re the one in control.” And with that I end my presentation😊.
