In the next 10 minutes, students identify 5-10 significant words from the text, discussing their meanings and context. This is followed by a 15-minute activity where students create word cards featuring one vocabulary word on one side and its definition or a sentence on the other, often incorporating creative illustrations. The lesson continues with a game of vocabulary charades, where students act out the words for their classmates to guess, reinforcing the meanings through performance. In small groups, students will developing a short skit that incorporates at least three vocabulary words, demonstrating their understanding in context.
