This guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual.<br>3. <mark>Democracy</mark>-a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.<br>4. <mark>limited government</mark>- a governing or controlling body whose power exists only within pre-defined limits that are established by a constitution or other source of authority.<br>5. <mark>separation of powers</mark>-an act of vesting the legislative, executive, and judicial powers of government in separate bodies.</div>]]></description>
