Introduction

Living in a busier town with tons of people, more stress and more pressure. Basketball has taught me a lot of life lessons but as well to cope with the life I live in. Many people think that sports are just for exercise, or getting there kids to do something. But there is a much deeper meaning to understand sports healing and growth opportunities. Depending on the person but for me basketball is a way to get out my negative energy and be present on something I love to do. As I walk into the gym with basketballs bouncing, people working on themselves to be a better player, and as well a better person, it brightens my day. Over time I have learned that sports are not just for exercise, but as well social interactions, a hobbie to heal and cope with life, and life lessons that you can apply for the rest of your life.

Life is all around us, your plants, the trees and grass outside, and more. Life means something to us and even the earth, because if we keep the world healthy, life never ends. For example, a kid named Mike is forming a club named (Healthy Earth = Healthy Lives), but he needed people who needed help with life in general, so Mike and his team want to help out with life and to keep the earth healthy and safe.

Reciprocity

Reciprocity is in our everyday lives, whether you know it or not. It can be natural, it can be artificial, it can be genuine or intentional; what matters is that small actions can create big changes. Throughout our lives, we really don't realize how giving and receiving can connect people, just like how nature connects to us. Whether it be offering someone a tip, stopping on the road for pedestrians, complimenting someone's vibrant outfit, planting trees, making your loved one a warm cup of coffee, or any other act of reciprocity, it can cause a chain reaction that can impact each other. Let's ask this: what makes a thriving community? There are a lot of factors that help a community thrive, but it's usually due to the collection of positive actions that strengthen one another. One person might commit an act of reciprocity, starting a chain reaction, eventually expanding over a broader network. Thus, leading to more relationships being built and/or strengthened. But let us not forget, reciprocity can be spread negatively; so knowing whether an action is healthy or not is essential to make reciprocity beneficial.

Sleeping is very important because it helps you be healthy. According to UC Davis health, "if you don't sleep well, you may not eat well. People get food cravings when they haven't slept well, and they often crave a food with lots of carbohydrates (carbs) like a cookie. And when you are tired, the last thing you want to do is go to the gym." uc davis. To this point when i don't sleep i don't feel well or have appetite, I feel sleepy and drowsy all day not being in the best mood and can feel that i'm not healthy, that's why i always take my time to sleep even if i over sleep it still gets me through the day or if i get up early i find a time to sleep to be healthier and feel good throughout the day. This shows that sleep is very important and good for your health.
