It might help to group the different subjects together? Like reading - the reflective reading was broken up and I didn't realise the comic work went with the reading work.

It's really great to see that she is getting better at reading and that her transcript of her story shows great creativity, especially the black cat controlled the night... I really liked that description. I was getting worried that her reading and writing was severly behind, but now I am pleased.

My daughter seems to be improving at her maths, which is great. The best part is that she says she really enjoys maths, which is great.

I don't think anything needs improving as it's a great system that shows progression.

I liked the wellbeing web as I was able to see she only put 5 for safe, I was able to ask about this and they said they doesn't feel safe when I'm not around, so we were able to talk about it.

I'd love if my child felt a little prouder of himself next time. Nothing to do with the jotters as such but he was quite hard on himself while showing us his wonderful work. Chin up and be proud of your amazing self!

It was great to have the snapshot jotter home to see what she is up to in school and see where she needs help at home with spelling and punctuation.

The 'lab rat story' is quite imaginative. I had to really pay attention when reading it. It was good to see it handwritten.

Hopefully we will get an opportunity to see snapshot jotters home again soon.

I'm very much impressed with her improving handwriting and storytelling. It's great to see that she has become proficient in reading comprehension and understanding what she reads.

I really enjoyed her retelling of All Quiet on the Western Front. Very imaginative and at how she is showing a great interest in both WW1 and WW2.

I don't think it needs improving at all.

Seeing an overview across school life, curriculum and activity types (eg assembly, PE, wellbeing web etc.)

I really enjoyed his suspense story. I love that he has gained confidence to write his ideas and not let spelling hold him back (not that he sees this though!)

It's a better experience to view his work physically rather than in a digital format. It will enable us to see progress over time.

We would like to know who chooses the snapshots. Is it a collaboartion between the pupil and the teacher or is it determinded by the teacher or the pupil? Overall we like the format and think it's a great idea.
