*Sesame Street: Hide and Seek with Elmo. Students make inferences using the clues and silly sounds to figure out where Elmo is hiding.
*Weather: During calendar time, students say, "Alexa, what's the weather like today?" in order to complete our weather chart.
*Simon says game: Say, "Alexa, start simon says game." We use this for quick brain breaks in between activities.
*Short Bedtime story: Say, "Alexa, tell a short bedtime story to Brittney." She personalizes short stories using students names. We use this for comprehension and as a fun activity prior to nap time.
I have Alexa linked to my Spotify account which has a playlist titled, nap time songs. When students lay down to rest, all I have to say is, "Alexa, play Nap time songs on Spotify."

For an example, I have used Open the Magic Door that allows students to pull different types of reading genres and it also has interactive games on it related to reading. Another tool that can be used is called " Alexa, Ask Ditty to Make a Fast Song", this can be used to teach multiplication facts and memorization of history facts.
