To create my personal brand I need to use my digital skills.

This week I had to create a LinkedIn profile but I have created it one year ago. I know I did not set up much on it, but now I need to update it based on my results which I got from the Career Readiness Survey.

It was not difficult for me to navigate and set up everything but I have notice some of my collegues were struggling with that.

Moreover, I have set up my Handshake profile and I have received some e-mails from employers. (Handshake,2024)

I had only add my experice of 7 years at Mc Donalds as a manager and I had already been contacted regarding other job opportunities.

I have gain more confidence and more knowledge. I think the most important point when you deliver a presentation is reharsing.

The collaborative challange help me gain more confidence, we meant to identify our challenges and the stakeholders who could support us during our journey.

I use my problem solving skills and my verbal communication skills by easily resolving our task and leading our team to succes.

Another task for us was creating a Panopto video. Me and my team were easily distracted by each other but at the end we managed to finish and upload it.

I believe that most of us who are working and studying at the same time struggled with their time managment.

For me it was hard as well especially when I come home from work.I have different distractions at home and I feel tired after 9h shift. But I am happy that I have managed to participate to all the classes without missing any of them. When I am in class I gather more valuable information and I feel productive as well.

Moreover, I try every week to spend some extra time for study during the evening. I try to complete always the weekly Digital Commitment and I have read on CareerCenter(2024) an article regarding productivity and I have found it helpful. Moreover I try every week to watch the record of the lesson for more understanding.

My major enemy for me is to be likely to procastinate. I have always needed support from others and a little push to grow and develop in life.

I am lucky that I have my partner and my dog which they give me affection and support.

My visit with the librarian Sofia helped me understand and learn how to do referencing properly.

Now at the end of the semester I feel confident enough to do referencing. Cite them right was a good asset as well during my learning.

Panopto video was a challenge for me because I tried to use the Panopto app on my tablet and I have struggled with it because my tablet is not supporting Panopto videos.

I felt frustrated about it and I was lucky that our teacher suggest us to use Padlet instead of Panopto.

I feel more confident using the Padlet and I know I will record my video successfully if I will practice a lot.

I have improved even with my verbal communication, at the beginning I was reserved to contribute to the class discussion. What I liked the most is the groups talks which I have been part of and I start to contribute to them using my critical thinking skills. By talking with a small group made me feel more confident because at the moment I feel like I do not have enough confidence to talk freely in front of my class.

My goal is to spend every week some hours to study and to have self-confidence when I speak in English and to read more. I believe I have support from my tutors and I feel realived because of that.

For some of my collegues was not easy to use and access breo. I had some knowledge using Breo because I have use it the previous year when I done my Foundation Year.

Now it feels easy for me to use the Padlet because I already used it for almost two months. The new challenge for me which I have to overtake is know how to use efficiently Panopto.

I want to achive more knowledge and improved all the skills which I need to be a leader.

My target is to develop more my verbal and communication skills and to engage more in class. Doing this is not going to be easy because I know myself and I struggle with my lack of commitment and I get easily bored.

My Digital Skill have improved and I have learn how to use all the online resources which the University is providing.

It is always space for more practice and by that the confidence will grow.

I suppose I still need to work on my verbal communication skills because I am struggling with my Employability Plan Video.

Speaking in public and recording myself is not one of my strengths.

I know for sure that I need to practice a lot for my video and by that my public speaking skills will improve.

I spent my evening checking the breo Power Point presentation for week 9.

Today lesson was about ethics in business and what means ethics for you as a person.

For me ethics are important and essential to live a good life and be treated right by others.

One of the activity during class was about Mc Donalds Company .

I work for Mc Donalds for about 7 years. Mc Donalds is promoting equality & diversity and preventing discrimination at work. The company has a programme which helps you if you feel insecure or you need to do any claims about the employees.

McDonalds company is facing with challenges because of their workplace claims.

During the day I have completed the Digital Commitment task and I have upload my work to Studiosity to check my SPaG .

I feel that during this semester I have improved my English. (Studiosity,2024)

Verbal communication -It will be helpful to develop my verbal skills and my English vocabulary for future job opportunities .

I need to come up with some task every week and I will need to successfully complete them.

Self Motivation - I have notice I need more support and self motivation to stop me from procastinating.

Attend the Marketing Club event to learn about digital marketing techniques.

This will help me with my future job applications.
